31. Tata , you are NOT the world
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (01.23.11)
Sane people know it , and now it has been PROVEN by a comission with INTERNATIONAL observers , who received declarations and statements of different sources , even from "doctors without borders" . The same for this graczek from maryland and other poor guys .
32. #17; graczek, Your Hilarious
Mark from Georgia ,   USA   (01.23.11)
Look just put a big stamp on your head that states "I Hate Jewish People". To use your words your ideas represent, "A cheap self-serving declaration if there ever was one", since you can't back up any of your thoughts with intelligent well sourced points. You rant, rave and hate. But keep posting, we need the classic example of antisemitism.
33. #14 America
Solomon ,   Bklyn   (01.23.11)
Of all the ridiculous, knee-jerk biased TB's that ignore inconvenient truths, yours is the worst. It shows a deep hatred for people that you obviously know nothing about. At least have the decency not to sign "America", intimating that you represent us all. Many other Americans have a totally different view. Some that might not agree with Israel at least don't forget all that Israelis have contributed to your modern, convenient way of life. (Google it; too many to list here.) Most of us (according to polls) totally disagree with your assessment. You seem to exhibit the very same "rudeness, vulgarity, arrogance and stupidity" of which you speak.
34. Erdogan must apologise to Israel immediately.
Harry Wright ,   UK   (01.23.11)
35. #10 - Israel doesn't receive Turkish water
William ,   Israel   (01.23.11)
so it shows how little credibility you truly have in your rants when you can't exercise even a 10-second Google search to prove your claims. It looks like Turkey needs its own water more, or perhaps it might send some to the "palestinians" who are too lazy to drill their own approved wells. By the way, are you noticing the desalination plants popping up in Israel, right next to our new, large gas field. Mmmmm - the smell of success. Oh sorry, you don't know what that's like.
36. #14 - the Europeans have a different opinion
William ,   Israel   (01.23.11)
They actually believe the Americans are the most dishonest, rudest, and arrogant species on the Earth. Notice how quickly wikileaks about the US has galvanized global supporters yet none of them asked for equal treatment of Arab, Asian, and African countries, leaders. Sounds like you have buyers remorse for an Israeli product and just have blanket hatred. Boo hoo.
37. #15 - with two intl observers who approved of committee
William ,   Israel   (01.23.11)
from countries that don't necessarily like Israel...its hard to take your ranting seriously. This committee actually went through the investigative process, reviewed evidence, and did so to professional intl standards...which is why the two observers gave their approval. Yet, your claims of war crimes, human rights abuses is supported by....conjecture? racist hatred? what else? Where's your proof? Where's your deep investigative process? You don't have one and usually don't need one. Just use the word "Israel" and everyone agrees of their guilt immediately. Perhaps anarchists with nose rings don't believe in Israel's innocence, but intl govts when presented with facts, do, and they count...you don't.
38. #16 - "the prison that is Gaza"
William ,   Israel   (01.23.11)
Really? So the Doctors without Borders was wrong when they said there was plenty of food? So the Sudanese govt official was wrong when he insisted there was no siege in Gaza? So the Arab press was wrong when they reported thousands of Gazans who leave the Strip for medical care (most times to Israel), school, and the Hajj except when Hamas blocks them over internal politics regarding Visas? Of course, a twit from Quebec knows the truth...but don't all French Canadians feel that way?
39. #17 - will this report cause another Best Buy flash mob?
William ,   Israel   (01.23.11)
Losers.
40. #29 - it was mandated by the UN for internal investigation
William ,   Israel   (01.23.11)
Of course the Israeli commission is legal because it was: 1) mandated that Israel carry out an internal, fair investigation into the incident, and 2) intl observers were not only present, but approved of its process and the outcome. So far, Israel has a ton more credibility through this commission than your ilk who simply claims Israeli guilt because they are Israel. Sounds racist to me.
41. What choice does the world have regarding Turkel?
William ,   Israel   (01.23.11)
When the most damning evidence against activists (and supportive of the IDF) comes from the videos and testimony of the activists themselves, not to mention the Egyptian MP who publicly, and proudly, proclaimed how the terrorists armed themselves and planned violence before soldiers even boarded. Other Egyptian MPs warned his comments could help the Israeli cause because it proved the IDF was right....which it did. Never underestimate the hubris of criminals and terrorists who often implicate themselves by boasting.
42. Didn't BBC's Panorama come to the same conclusion?
William ,   Israel   (01.23.11)
And they too did an investigation. The only thing that binds together those who claim Israel is guilty, besides their ingrain bias, is the fact none of them made an investigation to get to the truth.
43. Israels 600+ UN violations are all legal too! (end)
Edithann ,   USA   (01.23.11)
44. #29 NON-OBSERVER YOU CARE!
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (01.23.11)
That's why you're writing about it Then again, who cares what you have to say, it's never been anything worwthile, since in fact, you've never witnessed anything
45. Israel does not need the report to tell
Barney ,   USA   (01.23.11)
them that their soldiers acted with the utmost restraint. Any other country would have killed everyone on the ship at the first sign of deadly force from them. If erdogan doesn't like it and doesn't want to have relations with Israel that is turkey's loss. they are on the way to joining the ranks of iran, syria, and now lebanon to bask in the fruits of intolerance, hate, islamic fundamentalism, poverty and a loss of personal freedoms. what a mentality.
46. Flotilla
John ,   Herzliya, Israel   (01.23.11)
Israel should organize a flotilla with the assistance to the Kurds. Let's see what Erdogan will do about it.
47. the earth is flat
Leon ,   Ottawa, Canada   (01.23.11)
I suppose that if you say something enough times you will eventually believe that it is true. The IDF attacked an unarmed ship in international waters and shot dead nine people. I guess from a Zionist point of view it is okay because Israel was defending itself. Israel never attacks, they defend themselves. The West Bank, Lebanon (numerous times), Syria, Egypt, and Gaza were all defensive actions. If Israel were a human being, they would be locked up as a violent schizophrenic and never released from prison.
48. You didn't need to convince me...
Nick Sporek ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (01.23.11)
all I needed to see was the video. Next time don't use paintball guns. In fact don't try to board the vessel at all, just sink it from a safe distance and give the world media the finger because the world doesn't listen to us or believe us anyway.
49. THIS IS A CONSIDERED JUDGEMENT.....
Ian ,   Newcastle upon Tyne   (01.23.11)
.....not a quick, biased prejudgement. That's the difference that gives it the edge. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
50. Let us be clear about BDS
Stephen in New York   (01.23.11)
Let us be clear about BDS The goal of the BDS movement is the delegitimatization and ultimate destruction of Israel. We can imagine the fate of the Israeli Jews if they are submerged beneath an Arab majority in a secular, democratic Palestine. There are no secular, democratic countries within the Arab world. The BDS movement intends to weaken and overwhelm the Jews.
51. Full report in English is urgent
hasbara ,   Jerusalem, IL   (01.23.11)
Without a report in English ASAP, we will be blamed (already are so in Sweden) for subjectivity, as was expected. Please do translate. It is well wasted money, The Swedes initiated, arranged and let 9 Turkish fighters/terrorists/activists die. I suppose they knew about the arms. If not, they were not good enough to be in charge. Shame on you Swedes, who usually cannot solve their own problems. It will be better for all Mid- Eastern peoples if you stay there in your multiethnic state and deal with violence, antisemitism, ignorance as to Muslems (freedom of prayer etc),
52. #43 Edithann - The very FIRST violation
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (01.23.11)
was by the Arabs, who refused to accept the UN Partition Plan, going to war in defiance of the UN You can't claim foul, when you were first to defecate on the UN 600+ Alleged UN Violations, why not send the list to my e-mail AND while you're at it, compile a list of the Arab violations, starting with the 1948 war, and include that as well ?
53. # 47
John ,   Herzliya, Israel   (01.23.11)
Yes, if you repeat something many times, you might believe that it is true, even if not. Now, how many times have you heard: We are poor victims, we don't do anything, they just come and kill us?
54. People on then ship are guilty of self defence
(01.23.11)
No surprise. They were gentiles.
55. the iranian are coming
reza SHAH ,   Tehran   (01.23.11)
Iran navy has depolyed part of its fleet in the 3 seas of the middle east as a response for pirates around the area Israel get away with Mavi Marmara crime this time due to the pressure of USA on turkey not to respond but next time Justice will be served courtesy iranian navy
56. #47! Leon of Ottawa is BLIND and DEAF!
Israeli 2   (01.23.11)
He did not see the pictures nor did he hear the testimonies. Either way he is A STUPID A.S.
57. #37
Carol ,   uk   (01.23.11)
"Two international observers from countries that don't like Israel." One of them David Trimble is a colonialist Friend of Israel who tried to obstruct the Bloody Sunday Inquiry. The other is a well-known unconditional supporter of Israel. "Professional international standards" - where is the telling photographic evidence taken by the activists and others on board? Why were the commandos not questioned? A sub-standard and ridiculous investigation which will shame Israel even more.
58. #56 Childish name calling
Leon ,   Ottawa, Canada   (01.23.11)
Wow, you have clearly demonstrated the depth of your ability to analyse and think about events. You must be an avid viewer of an Israeli version of Fox news.
59. #57 Carol - Incorrect
Bruriah Sarah   (01.23.11)
First of all, the Turkel committee was independent. Secondly, hundreds of hours of video were viewed by military experts to see if any international law was breached. It was not. Lastly, the blockade itself is legal per the San Remo Article 98 and 100 which allows the blockading country to prevent a ship from approaching a blockaded area, provided a warning was given. Israel complied with International law.
60. #14 Self hating AMERICAN, coudn't make in the US!
chicago   (01.23.11)
there is nothing endearing about Israel and israelis are the worst. If indeed your name is william, you couldn't make in the US so you to get charity from America in Israel. Way to go, thank you for leaving the US. You and the rest of the Israel=charity cases will soon live to regret it. We had we Israel.
