31. Look at "Leila" a Jew hating gentile
USA   (04.01.11)
Let me tell you Jews, this world is filled of Leilas, who will never recognize a Jew's right to his ancestral homeland. even if we give the Palestinians what they ask for, Leilas will just multyply and will say you see if you didn't steal it, why give it back.
32. Arab/Muslim Lies & Deciet is their Norm
EZ ,   US   (04.01.11)
As with most backward cultures: they'll demonize yet exploit those who provide for them. They take from Israel with their left and demonize it with their right. It's an ugly culture for the civilized and won't be changing anytime soon. Polls mean nothing with these people: they're chaotic and have NO stable set of values. Just volatility and darkness.
33. #24. Be wary of buying a plane ticket to "Palestine".
Chaim ,   Israel   (04.01.11)
#24. This land you speak of called "Palestine"...where can it be found? It borders Oz and Neverland. Be very wary if someone offers to sell you a plane ticket or travel package to "Palestine". You may as well invest in a vacation in Oz or Neverland.
34. to Almani #21
Wade ,   NYC USA   (04.01.11)
I have no doubt that you are sincere. You know that the Israeli society is better to live in than the Palestinian. However, I had to laugh at you blaming the Jews for Abbas and Haniyah. They are the leaders chosen by you and fellow Arabs. Don't blame the Jews that you don't have leaders! If you guys would truely cooperate with the Jewish state, you could live in a political and cultural paradise. You are compromised by all of the hatred and evil against the Jews.
35. #12: You would be going from
Israeli 2   (04.01.11)
Lost Wages (las vegas) to Lost Everything (lost entity).
36. #2 is right
Alexandre Chinovich   (04.01.11)
All the Muslims in Israel at any moment can become the Fifth Column. Their intention is to get as much of this country as possible with 'peaceful' means. Look at Europe! They are conquering her without a shot. Let Haneya's sisters live in Gaza.
37. Israel gives Hamas warmongers Israeli citizenship?how stupid
(04.01.11)
38. One state for two people
Cynic #2   (04.01.11)
If it makes Mr. Ettinger happy that Arabs prefer Israel to the Palestinian Authority then the one state solution is the best answer to the Arab Israeli conflict. Let's get on with it.
39. This is good news so wake up before it is too late!
Adam ,   San Francisco, USA   (04.01.11)
If Zionists don’t recognize it soon, there will be one state called Palestine. Pretty soon Jews will become a minority in Palestine that is not including Palestinian refugees in neighboring countries and around the world. The only sustainable solution is one where Jews and Palestinians live as equals on all of historic Palestine. If Jews want a Jewish state, then a sort of a federal arrangement could be made to include a Jewish state and Palestinian state. The federation has sovereignty over the whole land with equal rights and freedom of movement for Jews and Palestinians around the world and each state has sovereignty over its people. The two state solution based on 1967 borders is not a just solution and if it’s accepted under a major imbalance of power, it won’t survive for long before another war starts. Palestinian refugees won’t accept the right for a Russian Jew to their land only because of connection that existed prior to thousands of years ago while he/she has direct connection and deeds to land and home. The Israelis think that the Palestinians somehow will vanish overtime like the native Indians in the US. The Israelis think they can keep negotiating indefinitely until there is no land left to negotiate about. The fact is the Palestinians short of a massacre won’t leave their land and will be the majority in short order, if not already. If Israel doesn’t recognize it and opt for a sustainable one state solution pretty soon, at the end I’m afraid there will be one state also, but without them.
40. #24 go to Jordan that is palestine !
Daniela   (04.01.11)
41. @7&9
Raphael ,   Netanya   (04.01.11)
Your palestinian pets share your dream: getting a green card and sell kebab in Chicago.
42. The basis of Israel is Abraham
Ypip ,   Canada   (04.01.11)
It regards the laws of Moses and understands the tribes of Israel by the jury of them.
43. What if Balad got their way and destroyed Israel?
William ,   Israel   (04.01.11)
Where will the Israeli Arabs and "Palestinians" go to escape Arab despotic rule then?
44. Ettinger
IRV ,   USA   (04.01.11)
MR. Ettinger the question is when will Israel remove the screen saver? It is all a charade this dance to please every country except Israel. Stop it! The truth is when Israel will remove the screen saver there will be peace based on TRUTH.
45. #12 "Christian Palestinian" in Vegas - Good question, so...
Scott ,   USA   (04.01.11)
Why did you move to Las Vegas? Because you couldn't stand life under Islam. And why should you put up with it? But the Christians made their choice, to lick the Islamic boot, and got what they deserved. Exile.
46. #4 - nice lie...except for two things...
William ,   Israel   (04.01.11)
1) those applying for Israeli ID cards are younger than 43 years old, meaning they were NOT born inside the Land of Israel. Simple math. 2) many Arabs in the West Bank, if not born there, arrived through Jordan between 1948-1967 after Jordan illegally annexed the land and forced Arab immigration to create a majority after ethnically cleansing it of Jews. All three of these actions are war crimes. So, considering these two facts, are you saying that those Arabs clamoring for Israeli IDs are all born prior to 1948 and are atleast 63 years old?
47. #7 - how can Jews steal what's already their's?
William ,   Israel   (04.01.11)
Perhaps you forgot about the ethnic cleansing of Jews from the West Bank, and the theft of their land in 1948....plus massacres of Jews in 1920, 1929 that also caused many to run away.
48. #6 - straight from the BDS playbook
William ,   Israel   (04.01.11)
You just contradicted yourself, idiot. You call Israel an "apartheid" State against non-citizens. The whole definition of "Apartheid" is a different set of laws for one ethnic group who are CITIZENS of the country. Apartheid South Africa acted against its own black population, not citizens of Zimbabwe. You seem to forget "Palestinians" had free movement until they started their terror war in 2000, and committed many drive-by shootings injuring mostly Israeli Arabs. Nothing "apartheid" about stopping their violent rampage. Go ask the 5 year old "Palestinian" girl who was paralyzed by rocks thrown by "Palestinians" and who's life was saved by....IDF soldiers. Funny, Leftists keep promoting themselves as very intellectual and open-minded, but you seem pretty racist and not at all intelligent.
49. #12 - then why are requests for Israeli IDs up?
William ,   Israel   (04.01.11)
Ok, throw the poll away. But please explain why Israeli IDs are so highly requested if Israel treats them horribly? Why would they give up their "personal liberty and freedom" to live under Israel's rule? Hell, ask that about ALL of the Israeli Arabs. The facts are there in black and white, it's your problem to disprove them.
50. #24 - and yet none of them aggressively more TO Palestine
William ,   Israel   (04.01.11)
Isn't the act of speaking for the entire population, as you just did, considered despotic, like the Arab regimes which are crumbling around you today?
51. #39 - where to begin with all of the inaccuracies
William ,   Israel   (04.01.11)
First, Jews have a human right to self-determination, the same which you leftists purport for all other populations in the world. Jews just happened to return to their homeland, which is steeped in history. Second, even if there was one State, why would it be called "Palestine"? There's already a sovereign working State called Israel and I doubt highly that will change despite your salivating. Third, 1967 lines are NOT just, as you mentioned. They are cease-fire lines during a war of extermination against Jews launched by Arabs, with land won ethnically cleansed of Jews. So, by giving these Arabs that land for their State is inherently unjust. Not to mention that during the period of 1948-1967 when Jordan illegally annexed the land, they flooded it with Arabs which is a war crime under the Geneva Convention. Allowing them to stay, if one State is the solution, is both immoral and illegal under Intl Law. Fourth, no one cares what a "palestinian" will accept or not. After 1948, Israel has the right to offer citizenship to whomever they wish - whether Russian Jews or Chinese foreign workers. Considering the majority of Arabs claiming to be "Palestinians" came through illegal immigration in the 1930s (as documented by the British) and squatted illegally on open land, they really have no argument on what Israelis do. Go research why Arabs in the 1930s spoke 20 different languages. Pretty amazing by a so-called "native" population. Finally, I agree that "Palestinians" will not leave and myself do not advocate for violence of any kind - even a massacre similar to that which THEY committed against Jews for many years with the intention to cleanse the area of them. They had their State in their hands many times and blew it because Israel would still exist, and THAT'S what they have a problem with. Sounds a bit racist to me, Adam.
52. Nothing new
Peter   (04.01.11)
Nothing what surprises me.The same applies to every western country where Arabs emigrate to.They mostly don't contribute to their host countries have a living on welfare with free health care but are still complaining about islamophobia and how cruel they are treated by their host countries. It is funny to hear their excuses when you ask them then "why don't you go back"?
53. LOYALTY OATH:
Jules   (04.01.11)
that's what is needed. "Do you declare your absolute loyalty to Israel as democratic, Zionist state, the Motherland of the Jewish people ?" Yes - live in Israel, serve in the IDF or take alternative service. No - there are over 50 Muslim countries. Loyalty oath solves the problem immediately and unequivocally.
54. #44 - which truth are you referring to?
William ,   Israel   (04.01.11)
It seems with each passing day, Israel's claims against the "Palestinians" keep getting proven by yet another country blaming "Palestinians" for the same thing - whether they're referring to "Palestinian" leaders in Al-Qaeda or causing unrest in parts of the Arab world. As they say, the truth usually reveals itself, hence, all the chaos Arabs are dealing with today.
55. arabs are in israel because its their land
baraah   (04.01.11)
and not because isreal is a democracy country, every one know that there is alot of discrimination between arab and jews while at the same time israel claims democracy and calling for peace. its palestain land and will stayl palestain untill the end of the world.
56. Why, if the Arabs 'love' residing in Israel so much,
RJK ,   Vancouver, Canada   (04.02.11)
do they not show some personal desire to keep their living areas clean and tidy? All around the areas of Jerusalem and Tel Aviv, we were confronted with what seemed a place of pride by inhabitants. Well maintained streets, yards and homes. Thru out Israel, the same. Then, travel into other areas. The scenes are the complete oppostite. Absolute rot and decay. Town after town but even moreso in areas like Jericho, the trash and filth is paramount. Smouldering trash fires, still producing toxic fumes and smoke, left to burn. Like moving thru a ghetto of self inflicted disregard. Signs throughout the area, stating the giving of American Aid to beautify the neighborhoods, but the realism of absolute decay everywhere. What is wrong here? Is it a case of the inhabitants just not caring whether the areas they live in are litteral dumps? What does it take for individuals to get out and physically clean up their living areas? It is disgusting. The message one gets is they don't care for the place they live in. So, if they don't care how they live, why should those living elsewhere care either? A pictures is worth a thousand words, and these pictures, sure are a testament to this. Why should foreign countries contribute $$$,s to individuals who couldn't care less in the environment in which they live? This is not just confined to Jericho, but all across the areas of Arab inhabitants. Is it a societal thing? When one hears their lament for what they have to live with, it sure opens ones eyes when witnessed firsthand. But, they must enjoy the areas they live in because it is obvious they don't care enough about them to actually clean them up. One actally is stepping back into history when we witness the sale of a entire Cows Head with neck hanging from the ceiling of the shop along the main road of Jericho, in the mid-day sun with flies buzzing around it, awaiting someone to buy it. Perhaps we just don't understand their society! That must be it. Right???
57. Ettinger the lone demographer
Gazan   (04.02.11)
Arabs prefer to live in Israel because they fear another Israeli expulsion. They refuse to leave their lands and neighborhoods. And the Palestinian state is going to be a third world country that just came out of decades of military rule and poverty. The reasons you give show how oblivious you are to how Palestinians feel. Just like your flawed demographic studies and especially what you predict would happen if you proved Jews would remain a majority.
58. #12 exactly!
Gazan   (04.02.11)
2nd class citizenship is better than personal liberty and freedom. This is what Ettinger is saying. It's ok to keep them oppressed because they prefer to live here than there.
59. #55: Do you know what Baraah means
Israeli 2   (04.02.11)
in Arabic? It means YOU must get the H out of Israel. It is a Jewish nation.
60. Arabs dont wanna do a favor to Israel by leaving, its an act
Moise   (04.02.11)
of resistance, they are there despite descrimination, suffering and Israeli racism. Its an act of resistance and they won't do Israel a favor by leaving the land or their ancestors. expect more Arabs, because the refugees will come back too.
