61. #24 - "hurry, before Arabs become one, and unite"
William ,   Israel   (08.13.11)
Hahaha You mean the famed "Pan-Arabism" that was tried since 1920? The same that Nasser tried to lead? Arabs can never unite because you're just a bunch of disparate tribes, or haven't you noticed exactly how Arab States have been dividing these days? One thing for certain, and this has been repeated for the past 63 years, "Palestinians" are simply not the main focus of Arabs, nor will they ever be. You had a brilliant chance for peace in 1999, with total freedom of movement and life choice, the fastest growing economy in the world, and you blew it all to choose a minute possibility of destroying Israel through terrorism. Time for some introspection before you attempt a State of your own. You have much to learn, grasshopper.
62. #41 - "palestinians" are not Canaanites
William ,   Israel   (08.13.11)
and you do the world a great dis-service by revising our collective history.
63. #44 - how is their claims not plausible?
William ,   Israel   (08.13.11)
Besides the bible which lists many of the towns today, Beit El, Shechem, Jericho, as being Jewish, there is also plenty of archeological evidence to back it up, and records of Jews populating those areas before being ethnically cleansed by Arabs in 1948. Now I ask you - if you discount ancient history, why do you equally ignore recent history and indirectly accept Arabs war crimes and violations of the Geneva Convention in 1948? Shame on you for equating the desire to return to a home that was ethnically cleansed with "greed".
64. #43 - funny, no one else mentioned "genocide"
William ,   Israel   (08.13.11)
or ethnic cleansing of Arab towns, and in 1948 the place was crawling with Intl reporters and UN staff. Surely, just one of these objective 3rd party members would have seen something right? Hmmm, must be why part of Al-Husseini's team admitted on BBC in the 1990s that the "genocide" (as you call it) was all fabricated and the biggest mistake of the Arab leadership then. The more you talk, the more obvious it is that "Palestinians" history really begins in your own minds, concocted in the past few years. The language of Esperanto has more history than you do.
65. #50: Hello, Jennie
LebanonPride ,   Canada   (08.13.11)
A few things. Firstly, where did I say the IDF is scared? I didn't even meantion the IDF in my #49 comment, sooo..... Secondly, I believe this is the first time we've ever talked, so not sure what exactly you mean by "asking you for a long time" when you still have not asked me. Thirdly, you pretty much ignored everything I said in #49, but I am the ignorant and clueless one, right? Thanks for playing, please try again.
66. To: No. 39
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.13.11)
1. You bet I am. I pay taxes in the United States, Israel, and Spain. 2. I am seriously considering it. 3. Israel, thankfully, has an excellent and growing economy, while most of the rest of the world -- certainly Europe -- is circling the bowl. I think in light of the fact that every country is begging Israel to sell them armaments, technology, and a whole host of other things, it is Europe you should be worrying about -- not Israel.
67. To: No. 42
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.13.11)
Name the "real powers" of the United Nations General Assembly, please. Change your diapers first -- I'm not interested in any sh*t you might include.
68. True solution: Annex Judea/Samaria. Pay Arabs to leave.
Chaim ,   Israel   (08.14.11)
The solution to our problems couldn't be simpler. Arabs are already leaving Judea and Samaria by the tens of thousands annually, without Israeli compensation. The vast majority want to leave. With fair Israeli compensation, we could solve the problem within a few years. The true solution: Annex Judea and Samaria. Pay Arabs to leave. As for the upcoming P.A. statehood bid; it will be an even bigger fiasco than their 1988 bid. Fictional Palestine, and what little credibility it has, will blow sky high and fast.
69. BID BID, JUST LIKE AT AN AUCTION
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (08.14.11)
Which turns out as a "NO SALE" price was too high, bidding for something which never existed in the first place
70. #67 the powers of the UNGA
Daran ,   UK   (08.14.11)
Using UN377 'uniting for peace' which circumvented Russian and Chinese veto's for military action in Korea, the same UN res. was used by the US again to force withdrawl during the 'Suez crisis' when UK vetoed UN119 and again in Namibia, it can authorise action under chapter vii UN charter. It can admit them to the ICC. UNCHR and host of other international bodies. How long would Israel function under a fuel blockade? those who think Israel will have no problem with UNGA vote are either delusional or ignorant
71. to number 54
abe the babe ,   4   (08.14.11)
This Sab bath was called Shabbas Nachamu the Sabath of comfort comforts where G-d comforts theJewish people for all the afflictions visited upon the Jewish people by the nations. The biblical verses assigned for this week and read in synogogues throughout the world come from Isaih 40;1--26. Verse 17 is very interesting in LIGHT OF this dicussion. All the nations are nothing before G-d as nothingness and emptiness are they considered before Him. " The nations do not have the final say. The G-d of israel has the final say. So Sarah dont take to heart their insanity. keep up the good work because they will all soon be gnashing their teeth when the nations cme against Israel in the final war of gog and magog as predicted in Zacariyoh 12;14 whc pedicts the final destruction of all the enemies of the Jews once and foallr

73. (the)bible, quoran, thorah etc.
(a) wonder ,   (in a free)world.   (08.14.11)
these books are all written by people, e.g. the first 5 bible-books are written by moshe/moses. if these books are called blessed and holy, then we all (the entire mankind) are blessed and holy. G.D created/creates all of us and everything. all what the all-mighty G.D created/creates is blessed and holy. let us use his creation in a responsible and well-thought way. thanks to the LORD.

(a) wonder ,   (in a/the free)world   (08.14.11)
that (the language of) esperanto has history, i agree completely. l.l. zamenhof from poland established esperanto in 1887 as a second language, after the mother-tongue of every people, as a way to make an equal position of/for every people towards each-other. (english is for many people(s) difficult/hard to learn. the english-speaking people(s) have an advantage in comparison with other people(s), for english is very much used at this moment by mankind.)
75. Palestine is Jordan
Yoav ,   Vancouver   (08.14.11)
Wouldn't it be so much easier for them to declare a state in a country of which they are a massive majority? Somebody needs to tell these Arab settlers to pack up their camping gear and go back o their homeland. Indigenous Jewish land cannot be divided except by the enemies the Jewish people.
76. To: Chaim at No. 68
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / israel   (08.14.11)
Pay Jordanian citizens to leave Israel? Chaim, dear, let us pay them exactly what the Arab and Moslem states that expelled over one million Jewish CITIZENS in 1948 and again in 1967 paid the Jews. Get them the hell out of our lives, and compensate them exactly the way the Jews were compensated. Which is to say -- NOT AT ALL. They aren't even citizens of Israel. We are just sending them home to the country of their citizenship. And -- unlike the Jews in Arab and Moslem lands who never broke a single law -- we are sending back to Jordan terrorists. People who think it is perfectly okay to send suicide bombers, stab innocent civilians at bus stops and slit the throats of a sleeping family of five. Compensation? Over my dead body.
77. sweat, that means Israel won't have to provied
ghostq   (08.14.11)
palis with anything, no money phone electricity and water, palis will be on their own.
78. To # 1, 2 and 68(Chaim in Gematria.)
Israeli 2   (08.14.11)
As much as I agree with you on the annexation issue and I sincerely hope it will be done sooner than later, I do not foresee any current government with the gall to do that anytime soon. I think we must have a much stronger rightist government than the one we currently have.
79. #43
frank ,   Canada   (08.14.11)
first, we say- Ashkelon. second ashkelon is a city from the bible- from the book of shmuel. the battle on mouth gilad (another hebrew name). the hebrew bible with that name in it (even if the stories in it are'nt real) is dated for at least 800 years before the quran and the muslim- arab spreading in the region (600 AC). go learn history....
80. #42, really?
Danny   (08.14.11)
When did the UNGA do that? And remember the UNGA recognised "Palestine" in 1988 so what are they going to do now? double recognise you?
81. #39, there won't be any sanctions
Danny   (08.14.11)
If they can't sanction Syria who are actively murdering their people and have killed substantially more people that were killed in both Cast Lead and Second Lebanon War then what makes you think Israel will be sanctioned? You are of course aware that the Arabs have had a "boycott" of Israeli goods for over 60 years now? And there is not a single BDS success to speak of, which is why they always resort to lying about them.
82. #34, really?
Danny   (08.14.11)
When has the GA been able to sanction military aid? When has it been able to impose economic sanctions? What UN bodies is it going to refer Israel to? The UNHRC? The same people who had Libya as a president and was going to replace Libya with Syria?
83. OOOH where's the Boogyman?
Marcy ,   U.K.   (08.14.11)
@76 Your own people are doing that well, or they are catching up, Jewish crime at home and abroad, Jewish man kills boy, chops him up puts him in freezer, say's he panicked. Jewish Chabad Rabbi kidnapped in S. America by Israeli house guest, Israeli woman kills pregnant woman over some coffee or making noise, forgot the details but she's dead. I could go on and on the crimes and atrocities you describe and the numbers might match soon, I hope not. Yes the Arab world is upside down and blood has reached the horses bridal, cleaning the house of Jewish spies can be bloody, its all there in the Tanakh. Lets just pray for PEACE
84. #82, Yes really, military acts too
Daran ,   UK   (08.14.11)
I give some examples in post #70
85. #28 Lisa
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (08.14.11)
UN Partition Plan provided for two states, Arabs refused to accept theirs So, your two-state solution was trashed 63 years ago by the Arabs themselves BTW-When are you returning California to Mexico?
86. #94 Daran UK
BEN JABO ,   ISRAEL   (08.14.11)
How about 1956 when Nasser told the UN to get lost and they left the Suez as fast as their little feet could carry them? The UN is doing a lousy job of preventing the traffic of arms into Lebanon and by all means let's not neglect the problems in Syria, Egypt and Libya
87. To: No. 74
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.15.11)
Can you stop with the parenthetics? It makes you even more incomprehensible than you already are. (Thanks.)
88. #87 - there is no need to criticize someone who
seadog1946 ,   InTransit, USA   (08.15.11)
is obviously a 24/7 object-oriented programmer/developer.
89. To: Seadog at No. 88
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (08.16.11)
Point taken. (That was actually rather funny. Kudos to you.)
90. To: No. 83

It's "bridle," dear, not "bridal." It also says everything about you that we need to know. English is your native tongue. Shame on you, and you can shove your illiteracy wherever you'd like. Let's just pray for that, shall we?
