I agree that the majority of people in the US just don't get it. If I was a Muslim looking into the US I could only agree we look like the devil. What scholars and historians have you read on Islam, its texts and teachings, post 9/11? Any reputable scholars? Or have you been reading apologists for Islam and conspiracy theories pervasive throughout the Mideast? It should be obvious to all who want to look,  the Middle East Caliphate is morphing into shape all around Israel. As I read this opinion, I hear your voice in the background on Ulpan Shishi. Strange I pulled this up now. Forget about Americans feeling superior, not a fair statement. However, yes the average American up until 9/11 felt as though we were covered in Teflon, ignoring the first signal in 1993. The real sad story, while Americans will use this Sunday as a sad day, they will once again, quickly forget the plague of terrorism. It's because of their lovely naivety, there is the "Peace Corps". It is because of their lovely naivety they give millions of dollars in aid to countries who wouldn't lift a finger to help them if America was in trouble. Americans don't get it?
