It's tragic that leadership by a Palestinian Christian is not an option. Imagine a government in Palestine controlled by Christians the way Lebanon once was, Imagine the prosperity, justice FOR ALL and potential for lasting peace would be. I never understood Jewish support for the Democrats. Nearly every Democrat I know supports the Palestinians and is critical of Israel. There is downright hostility and hatred in the liberal/democratic younger generation, which fanatically supports the Free Gaza movement and anti-Israeli protests on college campuses. At my college the Democrat student group was passing out Palestinian arm bands to students and wearing them to class. Meanwhile the Republicans and conservatives are vocally supportive of Israel, both in public and also in private. I personally do not know one single conservative that is not supportive of Israel. The time is come for the Jewish voters to realize the Democrat party has abandoned them for their enemies.

Was that they allowed the Republican's and pro-business media to run the narrative. Nobody remembers that the financial and economic crash was a direct result of policies implemented by GW Bush and that the economy was still bottoming out when Obama took office. If you wake up the day after the 2012 elections and Obama was defeated Israel's problems with Turkey, Egypt, the Palestinians, the rest of the Arab world, and Iran are not going to have changed one iota. Religious Jews are big supporters of Israel. They rejected Obama's policies on Israel. In the rest of the US the number of Jewish voters is small and most of these Jews are assimilated helonim for whom support of Israel is not very important.
