61. Should the PLO revokes fundamental aspects of its agreements
Jehudah Ben-Israel ,   Qatzrin, Israel   (12.27.11)
with Israel, Israel has the full right and obligation to take actions in response. The most appropriate action will be to expel the PLO's leadership out of the country into which they were permitted to come only upon signing those agreements and part of them. And, accepting Israel's right to exist is part of those agreements.
62. Law and diplomacy are more effective than terrorism.
(12.27.11)
Palestinians are eventually starting to make sensible decisions. 1- Unity among Palestinian factions: Israel used Islamist Hamas against secular nationalist PLO for years. And in recent years Palestinian division between Fatah-dominated West Bank and Hamas-dominated Gaza worked very well for Israel's interests. However, this will all change with a Palestinian unity. 2- Palestinians eventually understood that the most proper and the most beneficial fight is through law and diplomacy, not through terrorism. Abbas and Fayyad have been doing a very good job with the UN and with recognition lobbying in many countries. Israel is running out of excuses for occupation. This is Israel's one of worst nightmares.
63. To disconnect from the palis? How soon ?
Yosi   (12.27.11)
In the arab world, toilet paper is of greater value than all their treaties, contracts, documents combined. The comments from from a non-existant shread of civilized people, race, creed has (and Newt was right) no meaning, no relevancy. except that 1400 years of savage behavior with the same medieval way of life persist. Born in blood, they will drown in a sea of blood --- See Egypt, Syria, Pakistan, Afganistan, iraq, where men, women, children ; temples, churches, mosques, are blown to pieces to the glory of their beloved pagan gods.

67. The PLO are the most honorable people on earth!
Bobby Angel Bonko ,   Brazillia, Brazil   (12.27.11)
'PLO might revoke recognition of Israel' huh??? If they can revoke something that is irrevocable base on the fact that it is God.s land and not any one's to take from the Israelis as it was clearly and indisputably promised to them alone...point and fact. Anyone or country that involves itself in this matter will suffer and be ultimately destroyed. This is God's clear and decisive promise to all inhabitant of the earth. God keeps his promises and every prediction in the has thus far come true..EVERY SINGLE ONE. Damascus will be obliterated next, also clearly promised in the Bible, they will find a way to blame that on Isreal too!

I realize that you are severely limited by your brain capacity (lack thereof, actually), and that it is therefore very hard for you to understand, but try your utmost to keep the following in mind: 1. Israel existed long before the concept of "Arab" was ever born. 2. The ersatz "Palestinians" come from the Hejaz in the Western Arabian desert (get it? Arabs come from Arabia.). 3. Israel acquired Judea and Samaria (non-sovereign territory) in the course of fighting a DEFENSIVE war against Jordan. 4. Judea and Samaria is, therefore, under all precepts of international law and convention, Israel's to keep, settle and even annex. 5. There is no "occupation," save for the illegal Arab squatters occupying Jewish land. 6. Ta ta. Grow a brain.

You have GOT to be kidding! No matter how many "honorary" doctorates you may be awarded, you need a REAL one to qualify to be called "Dr." Ashrawi has a very specious B.A. and an even more specious M.A. from the American University in Beirut -- which, by the way, is unaccredited by U.S. standards. So I guess the best she can claim is a high school diploma. Hell's bells, Salma, you might even have one of those! Not exactly a significant academic achievement, you know?

If Edithann wants to get a grip on the legality of Israel's and the settlements' legality, instead of reading the Bible or the Koran she should read two different texts: 1)The Mandate for Israel which was never revoked. 2)Article 80 of the UN Charter which will explain why the UN has no power to revoke the Mandate for Palestine. The legal position is far different to the way that she(?) and the PLO imagine and wish it to be and will remain so. THREE CHEERS FOR ISRAEL!!!
71. Jericho
David ,   USA   (12.28.11)
If any land is to be given back it should be Jericho. Israel should not have given this land with Gaza to a people with such hate, nor to any people for the land was given by God to the Israelis. Jericho has such biblical heritage just to see it given to the Palestinians; the Oslo Accords should be thrown out the window. What good came of it for Israel I ask? Thank God I was able to visit Jericho in the late 80's before they gave their own land away. Now they speak of revoking recognition of Israel. I say let them revoke and for Israel to take back Jericho.

As usual, you have it backwards. It's the "Pals" who think 'might makes right', hence the show of force through rockets on civilians, school buses, suicide bombers, etc. If it would stop, something else might happen that they really don't want: peace. All of it is Israel's land. Israel is legitimate, whether 'accepted' by the "Pals" (which they have no intention of doing) or anyone else. 'Acceptance' does not make 'legitimacy'. Law does. I know it's hard for you to understand.

1- You have it backwards. Its the "Pals" that have been using the "bad cop, good cop" gimmick for all these years (although the PA/PLO could only be categorized as a "good cop" as compared to Hamas. Otherwise they wouldn't qualify). The division worked for the "Pals" interests; not for peace, not for dialogue, which both the PA/PLO and Hamas want to avoid. 2- Making up a false history [they are Jebusites?! Yea, right...], avoiding dialogue, making [what they know are] unacceptable preconditions, claiming sites as Moslem which were built before Mohammad was even born [such as Rachel's Tomb] is neither law nor diplomacy. And the only 'recognition' they have is UNESCO, which then caught them still teaching hate {and that it's good to kill Jews} to their children. There is no occupation. The arabs' worst nightmare has always been their leaders, which are now PA/PLO, Hamas and Hezbollah. You have it backwards. Totally.

Time to cough up the portions of the Quran that mention Palestine, Jerusalem of Al Aqsa If you can't cough them up, then choke on your own hatred
