34. "We won't forgive or forget!
tiki ,   belgium   (04.26.12)
I couldn't find ANY country in the world, where citizens of that country, in which they live in freedom & prosperity and enjoy all social benefits, have the CHUTZPAH to protest the very existance of that country and pray for it's downfall or worse.....with an official OK from the governement. This is not democracy, this is taking 'absurdity to the MAX! It's about time the Israel STOPS this Nakba & Land-day nonsense! If these Arabs hate the place in which they live, eat & benefit so much that they can't 'forget & forgive, they should take their suitcases, sell their private owned houses and leave! The world is a big place with many Arab & Muslim countries. There the'll find more freedom to protest against governements & better social conditions.
35. Jews have the right to protest as well !!!
Jo Alex SG ,   Rio de Janeiro   (04.26.12)
Well, the Jews are entiltled to march in remembrance of the Jewish Naqba as well, for the victims of the Mufti of JerusalemĀ“s alliance with Hitler and the resulting persecution of thousands of Jews in the Middle East on WW2,thus even before the birth of modern Israel !
36. nakbah
Yosef Y. MSc' ,   USA   (04.26.12)
Still beating a dead horse, Heh ?! This pitiful, canon-fodder falastynians continue to exist in their wishful 1001 night dreams . There truly is nothing worse than knowing that their "cause" as it is being hammered into their thick sculls, is hopeless to begin with. The fact is, that most of them prefer to live under the Israeli "cruel occupation" rather than in Gaza or Ramallah.
37. March of the defeated occupiers

Since when did Jews need anyone's permission to live in their own homeland? You need to update your reading list my dear!
41. arabs
Sam M ,   UK   (04.26.12)
Maybe if Israel turns into a nasty, brutal dictatorship with widespread torture and human rights abuses perhaps they'll finally feel at home! As long as it's at their hands of their fellow arabs of course!
42. Freedom
Michael Pielet ,   Israel   (04.26.12)
Freedom, freedom in the 22 arab countries that you call home. Reunite with your fellow arabs. Do not attempt to destroy the Jewish state that provides for you and tolerates you.
43. Jarda from the Czech Republic
Mike Lumish ,   Oakland, CA   (04.27.12)
The land of Israel, including Judea and Samaria, has been Jewish land for 4,000 years. I may be in the diaspora, but Israel remains our home. Israel Thrives http://israel-thrives.blogspot.com/

46. #44 Did we come in with guns blazing to expel people?
Roman ,   Lod, Israel   (04.27.12)
No. We didn't. We bought shitty land no one wanted to bother with. And worked it. And expanded farmland. And built towns that grew to cities. And did our blasted best to co-exist with the existing Arab populace. And after we got raided, and discriminated against, and massacred a few times, and blamed for being massacred, we got armed. And now we're blamed for winning the war we didn't even start in the first place. A war that was started to utterly expel us. Funny how that works out.

49. Arab israelis
Maurice ,   Los Angeles, USA   (04.27.12)
Why don't they renounce their Israeli citizenship then if the state of Israel is a "catastrophe"? They have zero allegiance to the state and should be considered traitors. Israel is infinitely better to them than any of their so called "brothers" is. This is discussing but not surprising.
50. Israel didn't have the means or desire to expel Arabs in '48
Scott ,   Ramat Gan, Israel   (04.27.12)
Before the war of independence Jews called on Arabs to remain in Israel, the Arabs leaders called on them to leave "temporarily". This is well-documented in newspapers from that time. Even if Israel wanted to expel the Arabs, they had no means of doing this, especially while fighting a war with 5 Arab countries & a poorly armed army. The Arabs that left went voluntarily & for the cynical reason of making it easier for the Arabs to massacre the Jews. 1/2 million Jews were from Arab countries were expelled in the 40's & 50's. Israel absorbed them. It's long overdue for Arab nations to do the same.
51. What nonsense!
ET ,   Singapore   (04.27.12)
What nonsense is this!!! These Israeli Arabs and those MKs taking part in the march should be stripped of their Israeli citizenships and be deported. The best place for them would be Syria and they can joIn the Syrian protestors for all they like.
52. Free yourselves, please !
Gabe ,   Canada   (04.27.12)
Get the hell out of the Land of Israel and go back to Camel-land, you bunch of infiltrators.
53. Boo-hoo-hoo! Poor arab babies.
EZRA THE PROUD JEW ,   USA-ISRAEL   (04.27.12)
Awe...what a 'catastrophie'.... their cousins flock back to re-establish the Jewish state. What a horror. No mention that these imbeciles WERE NOT THERE when we did or that araFAT was an egyptian or that the palestinians DON'T EXIST and in fact, hi-jacked the term 'palestinian' from the JEWS! What a silly farse these people are involved in. THE BIGGEST LIE IN HISTORY. Why we Jews go along with this is pathetic. There is NO honor in it; no truth to it; the ARABS created this mess out of hatred and theological motives and have FAILED ABYSMALLY. The giant arab world, filthy rich with land and oil, couldn't even defeat a tiny, poorly armed bunch of Jewish men and women who were emaciated from the Shoah. Now THAT'S AN EMBARRASSMENT! Yes! Thats what they should call it: "THE GREAT EMBARRASSMENT". lol! No pity here. Silly Thugs.
54. PRI has an educated reporter
Baruch ,   Houston/Israel   (04.27.12)
Usually NPR and PRI have very shallow and clearly Irainian funded braodcasting. There is a new reporter, Matthew Bell, who appears to have at least some depth of undertsanding, and is "almost" willing to recognize Israel. He did a very good job of showing the stress we place on our children during these two perspectives. He never did show the enormous daily effort that both Jews and Arabs put into cooperation. However we must continue to insist that newscasters who will view Israel as some kind of occupier not be funded. He shows a good, and very fresh for these NPR/PRI reporters, insight into the present. But is so easily able to ignore the detail about Jews building israel 3500 yeard ago and albeit togther with Israeli Arabs are building it today.

cleansing that followed. we are correcting this error. get out now. you do not belong here you murdering thieves.
56. What Nakba???
ltrail ,   USA   (04.27.12)
At the inception of the State of Israel, the so-called palestinians joined up with Israel's enemies to destroy the State of Israel. The so-called palestinians who joined to attack thee Jews, do not deserve to regain those Israeli villages from whence they came. They made their bed and now must sleep in it. MK Jamal Zahalka declared, "...We will never forgive or forget as long as this historic injustice done to the Palestinian people " What injustice? That the Jews won a war against them? Come on, Mr. Zahaika. God. Bless the State of Israel. Amen.
57. #46 Roman
ltrail ,   USA   (04.27.12)
God bless you, your family, all Jews and those who live peacefully with Jews. Forever. Thank you for persevering in your land, Eretz Y'srael. Shalom
58. Nakba
ltrail ,   USA   (04.27.12)
Hassan Shaalan wrote, "Nakba march: We can free ourselves of brutal regime" I have no sympathy with your so-called plight. You call the State of Israel's government a "brutal regime". That is such a brutal lie. There are victors of war and there are the losers. The arabs in the neighboring 22 arab nations, as well as the so-called palestinians who fled to arab lands in 1948 deserve to be the losers. Those arabs attempted to destroy a people, the Jew, and prevent them from obtaining Statehood. The wicked plan was for naught. I celebrate, with great joy, the establishment of the State of Israel. And thusly, I celebrate the great sorrow and loss of those arabs who were peretrators of such a vile deed. And I praise God for His protection to the Jews.
