I am by no means a scholar but i do read bible, talmud and midrashim. What are you talking about? Do you want to tell me which midrash specifically you are refering to and i will go learn it.

Of course there are Palestinians and almost two million of them carry the Israeli passport. This makes them Israelis on a par with every other citizen. They are Am Israel, like us, but culturally they are different from us (our histories are different.) Israel is a multicultural state, like many other states, like Switzerland or the United States and Brazil. Israel is also multi-religious state with Jewish religion as one of those, and atheists like me are different from religious Jews. A constitution will sort it all out.

The murder of 6 Million Jews was an act committed by men not God. The idea that men are made in God's image doesn't mean God has two arms and two legs it means men have free will and individuals are judged on their actions and that gives them the capability to murder if they chose to. Religion is a contract between individual and God. You obey the laws and you may be rewarded for it but you break the laws you will be punished, there is no rule book to say what punishment you get for what crime. You cannot judge faith based on your own moral issues.
