I was trying to figure out what you are saying in the many comments you posted, but failed until I read your number 86. Sorry, I am not as sharp as you are and your sarcasm is hard to interpret most of the time. Russia deserves 90% and more credit for beating Nazi Germany. But I am not so sure Putin really speaks for the Russians these days. Still, it is a great honor for Israel to host him. Putin's advice to Israel to show restraint in its aggressive posturing toward Iran is very wise, fortunately.

Putin has a very short memory or a very selective memory. What happened to the Soviets when they invaded Afghanistan? It was much worse than anything that Americans had to endure. Israel really has a very easy decision to make....listen to the Soviets and do the exact opposite! it is pretty clear to me that 50% of President of Russia Vladimir Putin visit to Israel is politics and 50% of his visit is his heart. He is not an easy going person, but he has his views and his sense of alliances. He certainly didn't pick Israel of all the nations in the Middle East and the larger world for its size or should I say stable present and future? That president of Russia thrown his weight for the sake of nation that hangs again on the hair over the unsheathed sword is a remarkable step. That he didn’t go for what is good for him or his motherland and instead extended hand to nation in need of help speaks volumes about nation he represents. People like Mr. Putin represent Russia very well.
