because Israel is not interested in having a war with Lebanon. Lebanese intellectuals, politicians and the Lebanese press are beginning to question the so- called "resistence" that Hizbollah claims to represent, asking themselves what in fact are they resisting. But it was hardly a "loss," and it drove Nasrallah into a bunker from which he rarely emerges. Next time around, collateral damage won't be too much of a concern. Nasrallah is playing a very dangerous game. Israel can turn the south of Lebanon into a parking lot with very little effort and -- if it comes to that, our new northwestern border is going to be at least the Litani.
