61. Goyim are not parasites
Gie ,   Telaviv   (08.24.12)
We work hard for a living! You have no idea of what you are talking about..We are here because we were hired to do the work that most Israelis do not want to do. You have to bear in mind that no man is an island!! You have to learn to take care of your elderly so that the foreign caregivers has no place in your society...In the Philippines , we dont have Beitavot because we take care of our elderly until the day they die...here you can not even stand your olds sometimes..Do you have any idea how hard it is to deal with old people? but we as caregivers do our job well even to the point of treating your old as our grandparents..If in any case there are few caregivers that are bad people, that doesn't reflect the whole Goyim here!! I tell you even in Israel, there are good people and there are bad..not all Jewish are good people so do not generalize the Goyim because Goyim do help the Jews >>.do you get that???

I appreciate that you are offended, and I happen to know from personal experience that Filipinos are wonderful caregivers -- but demanding a public apology from the newscaster to the people of the Philippines? No, I don't think so. That's over the top. When American missionaries and tourists in Mindanao were slaughtered by Abu Sayyaf, did the American people demand an apology from the Philippine government for being unable to provide adequate protection for foreign nationals? No, they did not. And an apology would not have been forthcoming anyway. Don't press your luck.

But what you did was assume facts not in evidence. That is extremely judgmental. I think you carry around a great deal of rage and resentment that you were the one who was left to care for your mother. But she was YOUR mother. She was not the mother of your sister-in-law, whom you seem to feel should have assumed the burden of caring for your mother, merely because she is your husband's wife! Would YOU have assumed the care of your sister-in-law's mother, merely because she is the mother of the woman married to your brother? You have a lot of unresolved issues, Rivkah. But please do not foist them upon us -- we're really not all that interested in your issues, your opinions and your Bible-thumping generally.

66. 64 Sarah B.: Gesenius' Hebrew Lexicon (you do claim to be
Rivkah   (08.25.12)
Jewish) says the SON is husband of the blood to the mother. When Yeshua the Nazareth was dying, he gave the husband of the blood responsibility he had as the first born son to His beloved disciple. If a woman such as you does not want the responsibility of caring for her husband's mother who is the husband of the blood to the mother by God's laws, then she is not worthy of the Kingdom of God and is in the devil's camp. You sound like you are in HaSatan's camp. That saddens me even though it does not sadden you. You don't know what sorrow you will feel when you see the Heavenly Jerusalem and are turned away from it, separated from the Creator of the Universe forever. I will be greatly rewarded for my sacrifices in life, but not in this world. You know nothing of mitzvohs, obviously, or you would seek heavenly rewards, too. By the way, Yod-He-Vau-He is God's name and it means palm of the hand-window, seeing-nail-window-seeing. Who do you think that is? The Person who walked the Earth and claimed to be God who was crucified with nails in his palms was and is and always will be your Creator. How can you be blind to that? Sad. Sooo sad. Yeshua of Nazareth is Yahweh.

"The family is too lazy or uncaring to take care of their own" Before you claim not to judge anyone, please do read your posts. Please go back to your meds.

Rivkah   (08.25.12)
a video screening of the caregiver and you think that makes ME judgmental to call the family uncaring and lazy? He was likely abused for years in many ways but that is all right with you. You think sanity is letting people abuse a relative for YEARS before checking it out by a camera. You are the one who is psychotic, with or without meds. What does insane mean in Gesenius' Hebrew Lexicon? It means being driven by a demon. You and Sarah B. both are driven by demons. Your master is HaSatan and unless you wake up and repent and ask Yahweh/Yeshua to cleanse your soul and being of demons that blind you to spiritual truths, you will be turned away from God's Kingdom and be forever separated from Him.

Big bad Jew ,   United States   (08.25.12)
If 100 people tell you that you have a problem, maybe you should stop a moment and consider that you have a problem? No offense meant but, preaching Jesus here is like preaching Buddha in a Madras.... Not acceptable. If you do indeed follow Jesus teachings, what happened to "judge not'? Your not making friends, you're making enemies for 'Jesus??' I don't think so..... Pleeeeeese, I beg you, stop.
71. # 66 Rivkah wasn't one Jewish crucifixion enough for you ?
Big bad Jew ,   United States   (08.25.12)
Who died and made you G-d? Jesus Christ!!!!!!!!! Stop this.

Do you think that a 80 years old person is young and strong ? At this age, you will see how is it to lose your physical and your cognitive abilities. The poor man, probably, revive his traumatic experiences.
74. Caretaker abuses holocaust survivor
Jennifer ,   USA   (08.25.12)
This is horrific! This poor man already suffered the injustice and abuse of the holocaust. Why should he have to suffer again? This man's children were wise to put up security cameras. G-d will deal with her. I hope this sweet elderly man has a new caretaker who giving him the respect he deserves.

You're doing it again; being judgmental and assuming facts not in evidence. The article is quite clear that the family had noticed certain changes "lately." So I do not know where you get the word "years" from. But you know what -- methinks the lady doth protest too much. What's the matter, Rivkah? Did you abuse your mother while she was under your care? Were you impatient with her? Did you slap her around? We all know how dogmatic you are, and how there is no room for anyone's opinion except yours. Did your mother rebel against your absolutism and did you punish her for being disobedient? Is that the secret that shrinks inside you and causes you shame? Do you find solace in blaming your brothers, your sisters-in-law and everyone else in the world because you were abusive to your mom? Now I understand. You are driven by demons. As well you should be. Rivkah -- two more thing: 1. Stop calling yourself by a Hebrew name; you are not a Jew. Why don't you call yourself Mary Magdalene or something a little more appropriate to your Christian zeal? 2. Please lower your proselytizing do an acceptable level, which is to say -- nowhere in evidence. Go thump your Bible somewhere it will be appreciated. Most people here find it quite repulsive.
76. Rivka, you're not reading the article
Israelit ,   Israel   (08.25.12)
"Lately the man's relatives noticed irregularities in his behavior and after installing the cameras in his home they claim to have spotted the alleged abuse." This states clearly spells out that the behavior changes were recent. In addition, the article also states that the man was under the woman's care for months, not years. Not only do you proselytize where your beliefs aren't wanted, or welcomed, you also twist what you read to fit your own ideas. You must be a very lonely, unloved person in real life, it's hard to imagine anyone would want to have someone that self-righteous and know-all around. Please get some help.
77. 76 Israelit, Israel: The abuse is not recent if it
(08.25.12)
excalated to physical abuse. There are stages, beginning with verbal abuse and neglect by a caregiver who loathes the people who pay her/him and the patient who is cared for. The relatives should have filmed the caretaker YEARS ago. Like the Jesuits, you cannot attack my points, so you attack me personally without foundation. Unbelieving Jews and Jesuits have a lot in common. They both hate the real Messiah. Jesuits hate Yeshua of Nazareth and instead worship a sungod JeZeus. Unbelieving Jews reject both JeZeuw and Yeshua of Nazareth and will have lots of company in hell unless they repent and become Messianic.
78. Horrified
Paul ,   Israel   (08.26.12)
I do not know what horrifies me more. The behavior of the caregiver(it is irrelevant where she is from)or the disgusting, judgemental and accusing comments from the feedback about the man or his family. I am appalled
79. This is what we get when their are these foreigners.
TzVi   (08.26.12)
You people should be taking care of the elderly instead of giving these people $ and benefits which ten go to overseas.

Gabriel ,   Leiden, Netherlands   (10.30.12)
I am not even going to begin arguing with you. You should not be allowed the right to vote, you should be under care. Why this man's family (or he himself)chose to outscource his care is none of your bloody business. The fact is that someone was hired, obviously for a wage, and therefore he had the right to proper care, and the (base) right NOT to be subjected to these humiliating obscenities. My advise to the family is: let justice run its course first and then drag her sorry ass into a civil court in order to ensure this mishap will be a most expensive one to her. Extradite her afterwards with only the clothes on her back to take home with her. If this man had been my grandfather, I would take special care into ensuring this woman could not possibly have a viable future in the Netherlands, using every dirty legal trick up my sleeve (plenty present, I might add).
