My condolences to the families.
Hope all the injured people will get better soon.
2. Again? Anyone thought to ban guns in the US?
4. Just what Obummer needs...
... to push through his disarming and outlawing of weapons laws.
Remember, that when weapons are outlawed only outlaws will have weapons!!
5. Obama's United States
6. The real tragedy is that...
...this doesn't even shock us anymore.
All you think is "Here we go again. Wonder who'll be next".
What's wrong with the American ppl and their gun-fetischism?
7. Very sad very horrible, Israel deals with terrorists
but they arent from within like this. May the families bond together and the US do what needs to be done to see justice and safety are received by everyone and these incidents dont happen.
8. When are they going to realize that they need armed gaurds
How many people are going to killed there before Americans realize that they need armed guards at public places like we have here in Israel.
Sad thing is they will likely have too much pride to admit they need such a drastic and expensive solution, so probably many more will die. Its really unfortunate, and sad.
9. #4 & #5
What a disgusting comment! What does this have to do with politics and Obama!? There have been disgusting rampages during both D & R administrations...your comments are ilk, have nothing to do what happened, and exposes your bitterness towards those whom u disagree with. Only an ugly person would this tradegy to exploit their political leanings, that goes for liberals and conservatives alike. I hope ur anger and hatred keep u warm at night.
10. idiots at #4 and #5
yeah, these types of killings have only ever happened under Obama. Get real and have some respect for the dead, you morons.
11. What a crazy world, our heart's with the
Familis. May G.d forgive the humanity.
12. A river of tears...
Is flowing in my country right now. Thank you and Bless you that offer prayers and condolences to our neighbors in Connecticut. There is a madness these days everywhere it seems. The violent loss of a child is unspeakable, no matter who or where you are on this earth. To those such as #4 and 5, these are people that perhaps spoke too soon. Let us hope so. . Shalom Israel,
13. #6 Gunnar...
You sir, are a fool. Perhaps kids being killed while trying to learn and better this world is mundane now to you, and being Swedish that somehow doesn't surprise me, But it make you no less the ass. The truth is that the only time I ever say "here we go again" is when a stupid Swede speaks.
14. Keep selling guns everywhere America
This is really sad :'( But what can you expect from a country where you can buy a gun on a k-mart?
15. the NRA and the Republicans
Have blocked any meaningful gun control for years and this is the result.
16. The only clergy CNN interviewed there was a Rabbi, so
it must have been a Jewish community school. He said all he could do was to hold people and cry with them. There were no words he could say to comfort them. The parents of the twenty children who died were told if they had not been reunited with their children, it was over. You can imagine the grief at that point in the firehouse.
A six year old boy was a hero. When the gunman came into his classroom and shot the teacher, the six year old gathered other children and led them quickly out another door to get away from the shooter.
Another boy was in the hallway as bullets whizzed by him, so he turned and got some other students into a gym where they found a place to hide.
It is time for US schools to have guards with Uzi's like in Israel. More people need concealed weapons permits. If some teachers had a gun to draw, that could have stopped the attack before 30 people were dead.
17. #6 MAYBE WALMART AND OTHERS
should stop selling them to public. Or maybe we should stop making so many violent video games. Stores make big profit out of selling them. So they will never stop that.
Iranian Jew ,
18. #5 yeah! no one kids were killed when Bush
was running the show, right? Don't say anything if you have nothing good to say here. I'm not Obama's fan but even I can see how dumb your post is.
Iranian Jew ,
19. Did you send condolences to China?
Where a knife wielding nut, cut up about the same amount of people?
By the way....this knifing of kids in schools in China, has happened several times in the past year. 20 or more killed in some instances..
Since this could become a right to have weapons in the United States under Obama...then knifes should be considered in the mix as well.
Smoking...starts out at 500 thousand fatalities in the United States every year. Most women are killed by husbands brandishing knifes.
Guns come in last... at 10,600 deaths a year.
Motor vehicle accidents are 30,500 deaths a year.
Should we ban everything and the kitchen sink as well?
I've heard he only took in two semi automatic pistols. They said he left the 223 in his vehicle.
Steven Wilson ,
20. 14# You can buy a pack of cigarettes there.
They kill 500 thousand people a year in the United States. Gun deaths are 10,600 a year statistically.
We have more suicides than weapons deaths.
I hear no one screaming ban cars...ban cigarettes?
How about the 1.2 million abortions every year in the United States if killing kids is such a tragedy.
In the end...people cover their own right to kill... or be killed... by their political party. Tell a woman she can't abort her kid...see where it gets you.
Yet...9 out of 10 of the same women would probably tell you they want weapons taken away from everyone to stop 10,000 deaths a year in the United States.
It's all about being as hypocritical as possible by your wants...rather than a child's needs.
Steven Wilson ,
I don't think arming teachers in a room full of 6 year olds is the a good idea.
The problem with guns is that they only serve one purpose, to kill. Arming teachers or having more guns will lead to more fatalities through negligent discharge or accidents. It also opens the doors to guns falling easily into the wrong hands.
More gun controle reduces the number of gun related accidents and saves lives that way. (trigger locks, gun safes, gun liscences etc).
However more guns will not stop the school killings and will not in fact stop a determined individual from killing at all. If we look at China for example where private citizens can not own guns psychopaths still go on killing sprees but use knives.
In short, more guns wont help, neither will less guns.
23. #13 Rob Instead of saying"fool" and "ass", how about...
...being constructive and try to discuss why so many Americans become victims to gun violence?
Do you seriously not see this as a problem?
24. #2 Again banning guns?
Not tired of the shitty Israeli gun laws?
The real problem are NOT guns, but gun free areas, such as schools and cinemas and colleges, that are actracting more and more killers.
Lanza left a note before the shoot out:" Nobody will return fire. School is perfect". Ban guns from people, and only criminals will have them.
25. to nos 4 & 5
these are really sick comments! Thishas nothing to do with poliltics - and even if it has, this is not the time to voice political leanings. this is a tragedy of the first order. If people made similar coments about the victims of suicide bombings in Israel, you would be screaming about anti-Semitism, the world's datred of us, etc., etc. Show a little bit of compassion, can't you, otherwise just refrain from posting. In fact, I think you should apologise.
26. Idiots at #4 and #5
Gunman is/was Jewish...Don't blame Obama...
27. #13 rob
You are the fool Rob. Gunnar! has a valid point.
As long as you Americans stick to your arrogant, cowboy mentality, the phrase "Here we go again" remains valid...
28. #17 The Iranian...
Go back to Iran and spare us your stupidity on this forum...
29. Sultan of Gujrat is nervous. desperately looking for emotive
Mt heartful condolence to the family members.
Let us spend quality time with our children and understand their problems and guide them so that they do not resort to unlawful activities.
