Muhammad is mentioned in the bible basically in attributes, and in more than 22 prophecies, but not in transliteration. The large controversy on actual name, however, is mostly related to the Latin word ‘Paraclytos’ found in John Bible and which is related to Christ prophecy of a messenger who would follow him. Christian scholars see that the word in question is "Paracalon" and not "Paraclytos", which means "the comforter". Muslim scholars insist that "Paraclytos" is the word found in the Bible which means in "He who is praised".
