Unfortunately there is some shoddy reporting here. Waters takes shots at all governments/religions/corporations that he feels have wronged others. During the concert a prominent animation is shown where B52s (American) bomb a town with, in order: The Cross, Soviet Hammer and Sickle, Dollars, Islamic Crescent and Star, Star of David, Shell Corporation (oil), Mercedes Star. He also shows photos and bios of those killed by war, terrorist acts, and governments. They include Jews, Muslims, and Christians. As for the pig, the symbols and sayings are changed every few concerts or so: Everyone gets a turn. Watch the whole concert on youtube and then judge... you may feel better about the overall message: e.g. maybe we should all try to get along.

I am no fan of Roger's politics, but that this was intended as an anti-Semitic display is utter nonsense. The inflatable pig is covered in all manner of national, religious, and corporate logos. It also includes the Christian cross and the star and crescent, among others. Confetti made up of all these symbols is also dropped during the show (I still have some pieces of it from the Atlanta show). Both the pig and the confetti have been used at every stop on the tour, regardless of the hosting nation. It's a comment on the way humans group themselves behind a "wall" of segregation based upon class, religion, nationality, etc. To single out the Star of David as being the lone religious symbol used by Waters is at best ignorant and at worst a totally disingenuous smear of Roger's intended artistic statement.

Too many people equate Israel's antisemitism (The Palestinians are a Semitic people) with Judaism. I don't dislike Jews and actually admire many of them. I dislike Israel's racist apartheid actions. The Zionists try to obscure the difference. Zionism is a political movement hated by all good people. Judaism is a religion.

I am a Christian and I am appalled and more than a little concerned at the apparently growing tide of anti-semitism and hatred for Israel, coming primarily from the left in Europe and the USA (though there is also a small but growing contingent in the Libertarian camp who engage in this same sort of hatred of the Jewish people as well). It seems that only Muslims and black Christians are allowed to be devout, to protect themselves and to be lauded, the rest of us are supposed to simply abandon our beliefs--I suppose. I fear we are approaching a time of great trials for all of us. I thought WWII had put an end to all of this European anti-Semitism--except in the Muslim states, but clearly it was just slumbering. God save Israel and all of us who believe in freedom.

He's been doing this same show for the past 5 or 6 years with "The Wall" Tour, and even with "Dark Side of The Moon" Tour as well. I saw his concert in the US, his anti government pictures a lot more Politically Correct. In photos regarding Israel he showed unfavorable pictures of Israelis and Palestinians. I am under no elusion Waters is an anti-semite. But he's a weird one, as he also did a whole song about an Iranian girl murdered by the Iranian government.
