Israel is also the birth place of jesus , important for Catholics . Israel is also on the Mediterranean sea . Israel , as was palestine before it , was always considered an important country , a way to the East . AQnd this is still so . Problems in the EU ? the economy is in trouble since 4-5 years , but the EU politics didn't change since this . Was the same before . Bigger problems , real problems ?
