Arabic is NOT an indigenous language here, it arrived in a colonialist invasion in the late AD 590s. Canaanite-ish is the indigenous language here and Hebrew is in direct descent from Canaanite-ish. Arabic is indigenous to Arabia. We will someday suceed someday in restoring a Coptic-speaking country in Gaza as our peaceful neighbor & will assimilate our Christian citizens into the wider Hebrew-speaking culture. Anyone who wants to be Arabic-centric here in this Hebrew country needs to copy the Druzim's attitude. Or move to the other side of the River.

The more one considers Lieberman's proposal the more ingenious it becomes. It has completely unraveled Arab strategy as it calls their bluff and forces them to expose the reality about their preferred state. A good example is Ahmad who cannot even wrap his head around the fact that he is arguing against himself. Also interesting is the possibility that East Jerusalem Arabs may also balk at their home becoming part of a Palestinian state rather than remaining under Israeli control. Remember, never play poker with a Russian.
