1. Lieberman is amazing
Italian for Israel ,   Italy   (01.08.14)
He debunks the arab lies. So now these bunch of traitors want to stay israelis. Eh no. They had 65 years for proving loyalty. Now ghey can join their brothers. And, by the way, all arab Mks, as well as all arab members if Adalah, Mossawa, Arab high committee should be coherent, and move them too. Go Haneen, go forever, and don't bother Israel anymore.
2. Go Go My Hero !
Hertzel ,   Tveria   (01.08.14)
I voted for you than, and I gathered votes for you among my family members and you make me so proud. All of jewish Israel is with you, go for it and don't change a thing.

My only regret is that he's married.
4. The truth about Israeli Arabs

All they want is the cake in full . If they are for a Palestinian entity it`s part of the show.
5. Lieberman

Lieberman is steadily losing all sense of reality. Does he even know what democracy means?

Lieberman on point
9. This was always a very foolish idea
Raymond in DC ,   Washington, USA   (01.08.14)
As much as I usually respect Lieberman's "tell it like it is" style, his "swap the land with the people" idea is seriously flawed, as was evident when it was first suggested. In Jerusalem, Arabs who could move relocated to "Jewish" western Jerusalem as the security fence was being built. And polls repeatedly show most residents of eastern Jerusalem would prefer to keep the benefits and freedoms associated with Israeli rule. So there's nothing to prevent the Arab residents of the Triangle from moving to Nazareth or other towns in Israel. Israel in the end would "keep" that Arab population, but lose strategic land perilously close to Haifa. One can even imagine open fights between Hamas and Fatah for the privilege of taking over this already developed territory.

I am more left than right and I totally agree with Lieberman. What has this got to do with democracy? If anything it is pro-democracy since it allows people with similar goals to live together.
13. To: No. 5
Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.08.14)
Democracy has nothing to do with it. All Minister Lieberman did is point out the truth. It may not be politically correct, and it may offend your sensibilities (no one cares what may or may not offend you), but it is a completely accurate observation. All that Lieberman is saying is that the time has come for Israeli Arabs to choose their loyalty. Nothing wrong with that. If they are not loyal to the State of Israel, and demonstrate in favor of an independent state, display flags which are the symbol of terrorist organizations, please provide one compelling reason why they should not live in the independent state to which they have demonstrated their loyalty?
14. Take it a step further...
Jacob E ,   Holon, Israel   (01.08.14)
Tell all those arab cities that want to remain in Israel that it would be a great gesture for all of them to have an "I love Israel" Month.. in Febraury where they fly Israeli flags all over the streets and have great celebrations for all the things that Israel has given them over the years. See if they do it.
15. Lieberman, Minister of Lands
citizen ,   israel   (01.08.14)
Yes, they don't love Zion, they love the land they and their ancestor were born.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.08.14)
So true. The best thing about an independent "Palestinian" state is that there is no reason why Zoabi and Tibi -- long champions of precisely that -- shouldn't make their way there. They are disloyal Israelis at best; at worst, they are out-and-out traitors. They wanted an independent "Palestinian" state -- we are going to allow them to live their dream.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.08.14)
Nothing like the Nuremberg Laws. Israeli Arabs have long championed the creation of an independent "Palestinian" state. We are going to send them there, free of charge. Time for them to vote with their feet.

Sarah B ,   U.S.A. / Israel   (01.08.14)
Restricted movement would work. Israeli Arabs in the affected region would simply not be allowed to move elsewhere within Israel. They have long lobbied for an independent state. We're giving it to them. What is their problem?
19. Lieberman. you are mad
exUK ,   TEl Aviv   (01.08.14)
The majority of Israeli Arabs are not only content here, they know that they are better off in Israel…Leave them be!
20. BenASSi wrong again. Not like Nuremberg.
SG ,   Teaneck   (01.08.14)
The Jews in Germany were LOYAL citizens of Germany. Many were veterans of WWI. The Arabs of Um al Fahm have no loyalty to the State of Israel nor do they identify with country at all. Though they possess Israeli citizenship, they are hostile to all Israel represents and are committed to its destruction. Since they define themselves by nationality as Palestinian and not Israeli, let them help build the future Palestinian state. Their objection is based upon the simple fact that they want to enjoy fat of the land, i.e. Israeli largess, and FREEDOM while they root for the destruction of the State.
21. Lieberman the face of judaism. He is
Forner Supporter   (01.08.14)
the representative of the majority of Israeli.
22. Abbas saying the same all Jews out!
Yoc ,   NYC   (01.08.14)
Abbas saying the same all Jews out of the land. I don't hear anyone complaining. Now Liberman says Arabs ur Pali citizens now stay in land. Liberals screaming and ranting. Life is a two way street!
23. A neo-fascist who thrives on chaos
Avramele   (01.08.14)
Men like the FM succeed politically only by creating ethnic, religious and political divisions and then capitalizing on the fear, envy, paranoia and brute hatred that ensues. There is always in his world view another devil to be exorcized, another enemy from within our own ranks. Yesterday it was the Haredim, today it is Israel's Arabs, tomorrow it will be intellectuals, liberals and leftists. We have been in this movie chaverim and it doesn't end well.
24. Israeli Arabs are temporary citizens of Jewish state
RJUSA ,   USA   (01.08.14)
Just because the West is dumb enough to commit suicide by believing that even the fairest of Somalis and Pakistanis can become 'American' or 'British' doesn't mean Israel should be as stupid. Lets not kid ourselves: Israel is a state for Jews, not a state where we have to pretend that Arabs should live. They shouldn't. They have 22 other states. They should leave.
25. Vile Muslims deserve the most to be under "Nuremberg Laws"
Steve Benassi ,   Silver Bay, MN USA   (01.08.14)
26. A Belgium 7 . 100 % WRONG !
Charles ,   Petach Tikva   (01.08.14)
Those you mention are NOT in the government . Democracy means allowing every party to have representatives , if they have enough voters .
27. #5 please explain
(01.08.14)
I really am confused, I really want an explanation. Leftist leaders like Livni, Lapid, Peres and Olmert demand an Arab state in Judea and Samaria, with violent ethnic cleansing of Jews to preserve the democratic Jewish nature of Israel. Lieberman's idea goes with the Left and also increases the Jewish character of Israel, reduces the oppression of Arabs, gives Israel safer borders, gives the new Arab state more productive land with educated and rich citizens, reduces the cost of the ethnic cleansing, and increases popular support for any agreement. Why are you against it?
28. #10 But nothing like the rape of Native American lands and

the murder and subjegation of its inhabitants by your predecessors, so that you could empty bedpans in Silver Bay, Minnesota, hypocrite!
29. Peres is supposed to kiss babies stay out of knesset politic
zionist forever   (01.08.14)
In Israel the presidency is supposed to be ceremonial .. kiss babies and shake hands with diplomat but Peres has forgotten that and thinks he is still PM and is probably if the most politically active president ever and getting involved in matters that the president should not be getting involved in. Libermans idea is not politically correct but its logical but all the left and some on the right are terrified of logic and prefer to bow to the demands of Abbas and the arabs in Israel who know they live like royalty in Israel compared to how things will be like if they are ruled over by their own people. Bibi should be telling Kerry Abbas wants land swaps for settlements then we will trade you arab towns. For the past 20 years its been the arabs dictating terns first with the king of terror Arafat now Emperor Napoleon Abbas.
