the world of design. We don't have (yet) any significant tradition/ weltanschau concerning design. It'll come, knowing our abilities in other fields. In the meantime , why not. Success is not something to disparage.

Someone is envious. All designers follow trends, both past and present. From that they develop their own style.

people. Maybe I was thinking more in terms of general awareness among the public, of certain quality, direction... This after all, what is guiding and developing young generations & their taste and aspirations. I hope we don't become like Saudis, with their ostensibly impressive "achievements" in building/design. (Yes I know most of it is imported wholesale)
