It is amazing how jealousy and hate of the Jews blind their enemies. Personnally,I don't think this is an Intifada, as Israel experienced it these last 4 years. Because there are no suicide bombers, and also because there is pricipally an oppostion between rioters and police, firemen, ... Most of the destructions concern "materials". Those riots are localized principally in suburbs of big towns. But cars are burnt every day since ten years ago. I heard about 100 cars every "normal" day in the hole french territory. The real problem comes from french media who deny the problem, and also the french politics who tell them what they have to say.... Well, the real problem comes from the unique press agency, AFP, who spreads the information for everybody in France. Same people who call palestinian "terrorists" as "militants" or "activists" concerning the israeli-palestinian conflict coverage... Now, concerning the french events, they speak about "youngsters" instead of "rioters". The real taboo concerns the word "ISLAM", they deny that parameter, and prefer talking about desperation due to high rate of jobless people and poverty in those areas. Concerning the coverage of these events by international media, French government speaks about exageration, that doesn't reflect the truth?? They just got the backdraft they deserve. As far as I know, french authorities are scared about tourism industrial market which will fall down. But they didn't feel guilty when they used same methods for covering israeli intifada events (Charles Enderlin and what happened in Netzarim... ;-) ). Those people living in suburbs always heard about desperation from the palestinians "militants", which could justify their suicide bombings. They were told that terrorists in Iraq are "resistants". Now, it would sound difficult for them beeing convinced they don't have the right to complain, beeing violent, and destroy things. Especially if they didn't kill (yet) anyone. This is just a matter of time, and if Riots persist during next week, it could turn to an Intifada-like. Finally, this is an end to their immigration policy since more than 40 years. They brought a lot of uneducated people for hard working tasks. Uneducated? Because they wanted to make sure they wouldn't complain. Then, all of them were "parked" together outside of towns, which facilitated ignoring their problems, but also making difficult any kind of integration. Remember about Chirac saying "le bruit et l'odeur" (Noise and bad smell) concerning these immigrates. Those uneducated people grew-up too many children, which helped increasing their incomes by getting a lot of subsidies from the french State. At the same time, do you expect those parents to educate children? These children have no respect from their parents, because they have no example to show... I don't think it is surprising that France is burning. Their desire for oil has forced them to lie in bed with the Arabs. Now their population is being fueled against them from within. Unlike suicide bombers in New York or London, or Bali, etc. they are masking their tactics under civil unrest. Yet it is naive to believe that. I'm an American, and I do feel sympathy for the French security forces, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel who are risking their own lives to protect others' safety and property. I also feel sympathy for the ordinary people who are being terrorized by thugs and hooligans. the situation in france is worsening and i see it everyday as more and more muslims are trying to get more and more power .How? muslims are complaining about the fact they deserve more money and more jobs. they are complaining also on the fact that no one help them whereas france already helps them more than it should do.France had so many immigrants like spaniards italians and jews too who were never helped by the state. muslims today are being helped more than any other groups and sometimes i wonder how france can pretend to be a democracy whereas special laws where made for them.... it is not fair for others like jews too. Other non muslim imigrants had to work hard in the past in order to have a better life...
