They express life and death and everything beyond and in between. This war of words of hate is not healthy to humans. The tongue can kill. you can kill with a quill. During the Shoah, the Chief Rabbi of Rome was so anxious to prove to everyone that being a Jew was not as important to him as being liked by those that would kill him that he converted in the hopes of "blending." Now we have "Rabbi" Sitruk" engaging in similar action. In the past he has told his "followers" that they should stop wearing kippot so as not to be too offensive to the French psyche. Now he calls for condemnation of the MoHAMedan cartoons, yet has not made one iota of a comment regarding the DAILY denigration of Jews, G-D, and all things we hold holy by the demons of Islam. He stays silen in the hopes that the MoHAMedans will accept him as one of their own, just as the Chief Rabbi of Rome did. By the way, when the Roman "Rabbi" found that his new found friendswere just using him, and that his former flock told him to f off, he committed suicide. Time has come for the Jews in France to find a leader that will stand up for their rights and not just everyoe else's. There have been so many inciteful opinions about the Mohammed cartoons published. I am a stunch believer in the freedom of speech and while the Danish paper had the right to publish what ever they wish, the moral obligation of whether to print or not to print insulting religious material should have been thought out more carefully. On the grounds of morality, I personally would not have published them out of respect for someone else's belief. I do not think that the opinion of not publishing should be based on the fear of what a certain group might do. You can see from the past week who are the people who truly follow the Prophet (peacefull demostrators) and the ones claim to be followers (the ones who cause destruction and harm). There will always be groups of people who just want to cause havoc no matter what naionality they are. As a christian there are always insulting pictures, movies, stories and television shows that demean the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. While offended I still pray for God's mercy on the ones offending and pray that some how they will come to the revelation of Jesus Christ and receive salvation.
