31. Wrong again UZi
Richard ,   New York, USA   (03.26.06)
Did I mention anything about the US in my comparison? Look before you leap. There are over 1 million Israelis living abroad, and those Jews coming from the West do have expectations. Israel needs to focus on bringing economic justice to all of it's people, otherwise more Jews will be leaving. Don't just think of yourself. You talk about your love for Israel, but you really don't love Israel, because if you did, you would want it to be like Netherlands. No, all you want is blood and war. So go to it facist.
32. KADIMA to Civil War: VOTE LIKUD
ALLAN ,   ISRAEL   (03.26.06)
Olmert's policy is divisive in a time when the Israel has not recovered from the last tragedy. Settlers won't agree this time and voting for Olmert will lead to a civil war.

Today I am insisting to agree with you. Here it goes, I have friends who did Alyah, quite a few,and they finally came back to Brasil, for the same reasons you are stating. And ,about the 8 bilionaires, I don't like too such big social differences in Israel.I don't like at all! Israel is absorbing the worst in this new world, and I believe it should not to be so ,but instead an example for others,as it was Israel by the beginning of this modern stage of it. I hope this elections will bring new perspectives for Israelis, and an oportunity for reflection on what they want for them selves. They must get rid of poverty,unemployment,re-arrange unfair and affronting social differences, resolve their differences with ortodox religious, get rid of cynism and corruption in government ...and... Well, sorry you Israelis if we, in the diaspora ,stay all the time only suggesting,but...many minds thinking together, sometimes, can get more solutions than less ones.
34. people, vote anything.... but don't vote for kadima!

Uzi ,   Beit Shemesh   (03.26.06)
Look kid, you don't need to be a rocket scientist to figure out that the economy in Israel is bad and like I said, " we need to work together to make it work ", how does that make me a fascist? You are a moron and an airhead, you don’t even know how to spell “fascist” yeah you did not mention the US I did because I lived there and not in the Netherlands. And all of this has nothing to do with right-wing or left-wing but with what is correct and best for Israel.
36. So typical
Yoni ,   Israel   (03.26.06)
Allan's 'response' is typical for rightwing extremists here in Israel. Democracy is o.k. as long as it serves your own narrow interests, but the moment that democracy stops serving those interests you can say "Screw it, screw the state" and hint at the possibility of ( or directly threaten with ) civil war. Ehud Olmert is definitely not my first choice for PM ( none of the candidates is ) but I sincerely hope that he and Kadimah will win a significant portion of the Knesset seats on Tuesday, and that he will be able to put together a stable government, preferably without the Likud, that will get us out of major parts of the Westbank and finally will give us - more or less - final borders.
37. # 31 ????????????????!!!
keren ,   sao paulo   (03.26.06)
38. Synagogue and state to be separated
Hulda ,   Finland   (03.26.06)
I do agree with Yoni, who says that occupation should end ASAP. Also I liked the idea of synagogue and state separation. Well I also like to wish peaceful life for the Israelians and the Palestinians.
39. ayatollah in iran, rabbis in israël
david ,   tel aviv   (03.26.06)
in a democracy, the only source of legitimacy is the election. These self-proclaimed rabbis represent only themselves and the devout zealots who follow them. no difference with iran, the same intolerance, the same use of religion for political goals, the same lack of love for the world
40. MARCEL THE CHRISTIAN MISSIONARY
David ,   Yerushalayim   (03.27.06)
How can a Christian missionary (Marcel) have the nerve to call supporters of Kadima "self-loathing Jews" and say "Kadima for a second holocaust"?????? If you dared to say this to the face of any self-respecting Jew who knew who you were you'd get what you have coming.
