1. Well done Sever - Lucid as always

A voice that needs to be heard, although I'm sure some would want to shut you up, especially concerning the need to cover up the not so devient path of 20th cent. Europe.
2. Most of the Muslims dont deny the holocaust ..
Jeff ,   Australia   (04.25.06)
We dont think of it as much as the Europeans; as we were not part of the aggression. Just as the Europeans dont think much of the genocide [over 2 million dead] by the Pol Pot regime. Now before any of you jump on my bones, Yes, there were a tiny number of Muslims, who spoke to the German regime of that time, but they were miniscule compared to the "Hitlers jewish soldiers [Google it - if you wish to know more]" amounting to over 150,000 !!. We have our own holocaust to worry about such as the millions dead and suffering in Iraq, Chechnya, Afghanistan, etc. Until the Jews start recognising [and doing something about] the current Muslim holocaust, they have no right to demand otherwise .. The author reminds us what happened just 65 years ago, but fails to acknowledge what is happening right now .. Cheers ....
3. Dear Jeff
Sharon ,   TLV   (04.25.06)
The main different is that Israelis and Palestinians fighting over land. No one killed them just because they are muslems....
4. #2
Ram ,   London   (04.25.06)
You made sense up to your 3rd paragraph. What the cr-p are you on about with regards to Jewish involvement with what's going on in Iraq, Chechnya etc.? Or, are you avoiding the "Palestinian" word? Shame on you if that is what you are trying to say. You don't deny the Holocaust but in the same breath debase it by comparison. Salaam
5. Jeff is the perfect example of a delousinal leftist
Caligula's Horse   (04.25.06)
Hitler's Jewish soldiers were by no means Jewish or saw themselves as one, and neither did Hitler, so you can conitnue your stupid nonsense, while the Mufti al-Husseini brough tens of thousands of Muslims to the Nazi army and incuraged pro-Nazi rebellions in the middle east (Rashid ali, for example). Secondly, the holocuast of the Jewish people is nothing like anything else (as horrible as such may be), and any attempt to make cheap comprasions to current events for whatever interests those may be is pathetic, stupid, and dishonourable to the victims. "Muslim holocaust", see what I've written obove, there is no such thing as "Muslim holocaust" no matter how you twist anything, read some books and keep your mouth shut in the mean time, that is unless you are talking about Muslim vs. Muslim civil wars like in Iraq, civil wars in which Muslims were involved, like Lebanon, or about genocides committed by Muslims like Sudan, or genocides committed by Muslims and against Muslims, like against the Kurds. If you are talking about Bosnia's ethnic cleansing of Muslims, you should know, dear Jeff, that Israel was the first (and one of the only) countries that spoke against what was happening there and directly contributed to the NATO interveiring thus saving the lives of thousands of Muslims, while you, I bet, didnt do much. Those who cheer on the Holocaust day obviously have some agenda in it...
6. Jeff from Australia
#:-)   (04.25.06)
I understand you Jeff-you are filled with hatred. You see no future for your children in Iraq, Chechnya and Afghanistan. ps. I liked the way you spoke about pol pot then said "do no not jump on my bones"-was that intentional-or are you just a gifted fool....
7. Do u have anything other than demonizing Islam
Muhammad-Ali ,   Montreal   (04.25.06)
we never demonize Judaism.

10. denial of the holocaust
robin ,   israel   (04.25.06)
I don't know about the Moslem world, the only one publicly denying the holocaust that I know about, besides Mel Gibson's father, is the president of Iran. I find this particularly frightening, because like Hitler, he reveals himself to be totally uneducated and to come from the lowest of the low. And like Hitler, just by sheer chuzpah, together with the world's moral weakness and complacency, he has risen to power.

14. #2 "Hitlers jewish soldiers"
Craig ,   MI USA   (04.25.06)
I did Google it as you suggested and found information about it at the following address. http://www.stengerhistorica.com/History/Ehrenrettung/Riggs/Riggs.htm One thing you do not mention is that they were part of the military BEFORE Hitler came to power; this article also states: Numerous "exemptions" were made in order to allow a soldier to stay within the ranks or to spare a soldier's parent, spouse, or other relative from incarceration or far worse. In other words Jews would stay in the military to help SAVE their families from the Holocaust, not because they agreed with what Germany was doing at the time.

16. halocaust deniers
Sal Muir ,   California, USA   (04.25.06)
Dear Sir, while it is understandable that many Jews died at the hands of the Nazi regime a while back, what my question is , there are millions of people dying around the world each day, what are we doing about it?. I mean understood it happenned, but what are we doing our the present, the past is gone and over and there is nothing we can do about it, are we going to think about this a century from now while people will be still dying from hunger in the present?
17. couldnt agree with you more ram

couldnt agree with you more RAM
18. robin....
robin ,   california, usa   (04.25.06)
u need to start making sense, by the way this is a english posting, not hebrew. And also this is the year 2006 just wanted to let you know because you seem like you are still living in the 1940's. Look at the millions dying today and help THEM if you really care about humanity rather than dwelling on the past.
19. Holocaust Remembrance
Jim in Suffolk ,   Suffolk,VA. USA   (04.25.06)
The fact that many of "mixed lineage" served in the German army of WW!! should come as no surprise to anyone, many people are not aware of their heritage beyond their own parents; others were already members of the services before the idea of racial purity was an issue. Observe the more recent similar "purges" in the former Soviet Union, China, Yugoslavia, IRAQ, etc., etc. wherein a leader denounces his own countrymen, villifying them by their political affiliation, religious sect, regional heritage or any other flimsy excuse to promote killing or persecuting those who are "different from me"... While we are all HUMAN it does NOT make us humane to our brothers and sisters, animals, or our planet. We crave an excuse to feel superior to anyone or anything else, our leaders seize upon this and aim us at those they hate and we do the rest... We are indeed a flawed species in need of improvement.. God/Allah/"insert deity here"..save us from each other, and ourselves.
20. #7, are you serious? Muslims desecrate Judaism daily.
David Landman ,   Boston, USA   (04.25.06)
The worst offender is desecrating the Temple Mount on a daily basis. This is the holiest site in Judaism for the past 2,500 years and is daily desecrated by Muslims. This is a fact. How about the fact that Muslims constantly desecrate the holiday of Passover by printing BS about Jews making Matzah out of blood. How about the fact that Muslims attacked Jews praying at the Kotel on Rosh Hashana. This intifadah was planned to attack Jews. How about the fact that the Arab world attacked Israel on the holiest day of the year, Yom Kippur. You are full of it. Millions of Muslims around the world have NO respect for Judaism. I hvent even started with the Muslim desecration of Bhuddism and Christianity. You should respect your elders. As for liberal and racist deniers including #2? They are a cancer on this planet. While different opinions are OK, revisionism is a cancer. Everytime one of them speaks their lies, part of the world dies.
21. #2, how about Muslim desecration of Josephs Tomb?
David Landman ,   Boston, USA   (04.25.06)
There is Muslim desecration of Judaism everywhere. Not all Muslims are terrorists, but most terrorists are Muslims. When Islam respects other religions, then there is hope for peace, not a second beforehand. Heck, Muslims dont even respect each other.
23. A few comments...
Ishmael ,   USA   (04.26.06)
First let's take a look at 'terrorism' in the Middle East. Let me just say one name:The Stern Gang! But that is besides the point. How can a Arab be anti-Semitic and he is a Semite himself? Think! Also, Muslims respect Judaism but not Zionism. there is a difference. And finally, since everyone here likes history, check through history about Muslim Spain. This MUSLIM country sheltered the Jews while the Christians were persecuting them. Do your research first, All!
24. We should learn from the Holocaust
Muhammad-Ali ,   Montreal   (04.26.06)
and not make another.
25. desecration of haKotel
yaakov ,   NZ   (04.26.06)
after east jerusalem was recaptured/liberated from jordan in 1967, one of the first thing the idf soldiers did was to take down a urinal the jordanians/palestinians/arabs/martians/ whatever had built on the kotel just for the purpose of insulting and desecrating it!
26. Demonizing Muslims, Author's bigotry
Karim ,   Morocco   (04.26.06)
We hear all the time about the issue of "Muslim denial" of the holocaust. The author offers no data or proof about how all Muslims perceive the holocaust. Bigotry or racism maybe? In the Arab world, it is however well established that a big number don't believe in the holocaust the way it happened. This applies to both Muslim Arabs AND Christian Arabs. Israeli or pro-Israel are always careful not to generalize about "Christians" because they are concerned that they would offend their main source of support and weapons: the USA. Back to the holocaust denial in the Arab world. It is an issue that needs to be tackled, through education but is it a crime? It is NOT a crime. It is an unfortunate sitution, which is caused mainly by the hatred of Israel and it has done to the Palestinians. The Israeli up to this day deny the Palestinian nakba of 1948, and deny them the right of RETURN.
27. European murderers
Larry ,   Eastbourne, UK   (04.26.06)
The article is absolutely right in pointing out that regular Germans perpetrated the crimes of the Holocaust. Daniel Goldhagen's book Hitler's Willing Executioners explores this theme in depth and also shows that many German "anti-Nazis" nevertheless supported the genocide of the Jews. As regards renaming the Auschwitz death camp as German, let's not forget the role of the Polish murderers who collaborated so willingly.
28. murdering murderers
yaakov   (04.26.06)
it is very commonplace for Jews to talk of "the poles" as by and large murderers, let us not forget that the cream of their society was murdered by the germans on the invasion, ie, anyone with an education. possibly even more culpable in the holocaust were, ukrainians, latvians, lithuanians and belorussians who were camp guards and auxiliaries in most of the camps. not to mention the local romanian, hungarian and croatian fascist PIGS. WE WILL NOT FORGET WE WILL NOT FORGIVE
29. Answer to Karim from Morocco PART (1)
Ron ,   LA   (04.26.06)
First, Karim, welcome to the talk back, I am happy to exchange ideas with intelligent Muslims and Arabs as yourself. I hope more of our neighbors will follow you and put their 2 dinars, so to speak… Karim sez: “We hear all the time about the issue of "Muslim denial" of the holocaust. The author offers no data or proof about how all Muslims perceive the holocaust. Bigotry or racism maybe? “ Ron sez: I think you jump to conclusions too fast. Bigotry and racism are pretty serious accusations. Just because the author doesn’t give you enough information, you decided to call him racist and bigot? It is a general knowledge in the world today; terrible blood labels, run free in Arab and Muslim TV, newspapers and various other publications. Jews called sons of pigs and monkeys in the mosques, Egyptian, Lebanese and Syrian TV produce Ramadan series about Jews, who murder Christian children for their rituals. They produce series about Protocols of Elders of Zion, known forgery of Russian secret police. Syrian government invites David Duke, who is known KKK bigot and racist, despised by any reasonable human being. Links provided. If you need more, just let me know. http://www.memri.org/bin/search/search.cgi?nocpp=1&p%3Ats_udav=0&sort-method=1&Match=0&Terms=holocaust&Realm=All http://memri.org/bin/articles.cgi?Page=archives&Area=sd&ID=SP103505 Karim sez: “In the Arab world, it is however well established that a big number don't believe in the holocaust the way it happened. This applies to both Muslim Arabs AND Christian Arabs. “ Ron sez: I agree with you and it makes me sad. The key word here is “believe”. You see, Karim I hope you agree with me, this is not a matter of simple “belief”. When we talking about “ believe”, normally we mean “ religious belief”, “ ideological belief” or “ atheistic belief” or alien abductions, Ayn Rand, megavitamin therapy, deep-tissue massage, skepticism, Holocaust denial, Satanism, near-death experiences, Randian positivism, conspirator theories…. Did I forget something? My point is this; it’s not about belief, it’s about facts, honest, scientific research, sticking to acceptable historical analysis and norms, modern academic standards. The questions here are simple; did Holocaust happen? How and why it happened? Are the numbers reliable, etc.? Those types of questions I am not here to address. Thousands of books were written, tens of thousands testimonials collected, Nuremberg trials conducted, countless soldiers-liberators both Russian and Western testified, many movies made. Holocaust deniers lost their cases in court of law, Holocaust Museums constructed and more and more cases- more than I desire to describe here.
30. Answer to Karim from Morocco PART (2)
Ron ,   LA   (04.26.06)
Karim sez: “Israeli or pro-Israel are always careful not to generalize about "Christians" because they are concerned that they would offend their main source of support and weapons: the USA. “ Ron sez: I disagree with you and I’ll tell you why: First I know WHY you think this way and please, correct me if I am mistaken. Your idea of Jews, as you learned from means of mass propaganda in your country as well as Al-Jeezira and others. Jews think only in terms of profit and loss. What good for the Jews or what bad for the Jews. There is something to it, of course, but “something” is the key word here. Your reasoning, Jews ONLY care what’s good for them, this is their nature. Please pay attention; I said “mass propaganda”, because there is no free press to talk about in the Arab world. Again, please correct me if I am wrong. Now about “Christians” and USA. Without claiming to be an authority on both sectors, I will take the liberty to speculate and I hope Christians and Americans can correct and guide me here. Christians support Israel for couple main reasons as follows: They know their Bible. They believe their Bible. Their Bible tells them what they care to know. Their Bible tells them what is GOOD and what EVIL is. It may be trivial and simplistic, but it is a delusion; unfortunately our Western “modern” culture became ignorant of those “simple” distinctions. Americans support Israel, because it is free country, based on the same values and principles their fathers defended many times and so many of them died for their flag of freedom, flag which is being trashed and stepped on by ignorant mutants of communist cancer of the old, who enjoy this freedom DON’T deserve. Americans support Israel, because America knows Israel is a canary in the mine. If Israel capitulates in front of Islamic Barbarism and Fascistic Jihad, free world is not far behind. America knows, Israel is strong, powerful and consistent ally of America for many years and no specific issue will change this fact. America knows that she is popular in Israel more than any other country on Earth, because Israel also has good understanding of good and evil. America is good. Period. True Americans know it, but they are dignified and humble enough not to shout about it on every corner. Socialist and communist mutants shout about their “Love of peace” on every corner. True Americans don’t need to; power of free vote- this is what is of real value to Israelis and Americans. Not “because they are concerned that they would offend their main source of support and weapons”, Karim. After all 1967 war was fought with French weapons, not American. If we wouldn’t have principles, we would kiss French ass for many years, to this day. No Karim, I do not agree with you on that.
