What about right of return to all the Mizrahi and Sephardi Jews that were kicked out of Arab countries when Israel was created, their property stolen. Will they also be granted right of return? There must be over a million Jewish refugees in Israel. If the Arabs cannot agree to this, then Israel should not agree to the right of return for Palestinians only. That would be considered racist double-standards set by Arabs.

The State of Palestine (when the Pals get serious and accept reality) will permit the refugees (a situation perpetuated by the General Assembly of Banana Republics, creators of the UNWRA - the only permanent refugee organization in the history of the world) to return to their land.

The myth of the Palestinian Nation, disenfranchised, their lands stolen from them is just that, a myth, successfully perpetrated and sold to the world by Husseini and Arafat. I could give a much longer list of the legitamization of Israel, by international convention, since October 11th 1917, the day General Allenby entered Jerusalem just as I could give a long list of reasons why by international convention Israel, and no part of it belongs or belonged to the people calling themselves Palestinians. I do not deny their existence today, I deny their so called history. I do not deny their right to sovereignty. They must look for this elsewhere, to the east and not to the west. They must stop crying over spilled milk and look to the future. It is in their interest. The Nations of the World in 1947, in their wisdom voted for partition, the Arabs said no, we want all. The Nations, again in their wisdom, voted in 1948 for the establishment of Israel, the Arabs said no, destruction. They have brought themselves, with their brother's help and with uncanny determination and fortitude lasting 99 years, to the position and situation in which they find themselves today. I ask them, why not try a different approach ? Construction as opposed to destruction. Acceptance of International convention and wisdom as opposed to denial, positive as opposed to negative, life as opposed to death, hope as opposed to fate. There is and will be no right of return. To paraphrase the Americanism of 150 years ago, "go East young man ". That is where their future lies, not in Israel.

Hamas is rediculous. Their charter is to kill Jews and destroy Israel. They dont even know what historic Palestine is. The area west of the Jordan was only called Palestine for about 25 years. Its time to end the experiment of creating a second Arab Palestinian state. Under international law, there is NO right of return for any of the decendants. Specifically in 1948 - the then arab leaders ordered the palis to abandon their homes, move out of the way so they can defeat and annihilate the new state of Israel. THEY LOST! Until 1967, all the arab did was keep the palis in jail, and repeatedly attack Israel. AT NO TIME did the arabs, namely Jordan Egypt or Syria, offer the palis the parts of "paleestine" that they controlled (Gaza and the West Bank). Yet, no big deal. The palis weren't screaming at their arab 'brothers'. Just at the Jews. In 67, to preempt a coming arab assault, the IDF cancelled the arab subscription to murder and took back Jerusalem, and control over the West Bank and Gaza. ALL OF A SUDDEN, the screaming for a "right of return" and a demand that Israel give up all territories captured in 67 and then the palis will "discuss" peace. Not once from 48 to 67 did the palis offer a discussion of peace or demand a "right of return" to the areas controlled by Jordan and Egypt. Not once from 48 to 67 did the arabs permit Jews to worship at our holy sites, while now we offer EVERYONE free access. Right of return? Not to those that willfully left when you thought you could come back after killing us. SO.....enjoy your new homes and find out why YOUR people refuse you proper living accomodations. As for Israel, this stopped being your home when you walked out in 1948. Note to palis: If nothing else you have a sense of humour!

the question is not to say which side is right or wrong. Of course, everyside is convinced of its right. The question is to define the elements of a peace : it is pretty obvious that the only conceivable peace means the two-state solution between the sea and the river. As for the refugies question, it is not likely that palestinians are going to give up their dream to come back home while we didn't do it during 18 centuries. So it is to the international community to decide : no right of return but indemnisation. As for the jews expelled from the arab countries, the palestinians are not responsible. Forget your guts, use your brains!

wow....if the "palestinians" that fought and lost wars that they started get a "right to return" .... I guess that means 38% of bagdad is going to be returned to the jews. After all, 38% of bagdad was jewish before we were all ethnically cleansed. What are we going to do with bagdad? and what about damascus/beirut/cairo/tripoli/ yemen, etc. maybe hamas is going to compensate us for all our property in the arab countries???
