This guy is a war criminal and I applaud the Maynard for pursuing him. Those who commit crimes against humanity, including israeli soldiers, must be punished accordingly. I feel that a Palestine war crimes tribunal should be established in the Hague to pursue those people. Alternatively, Britain and other countries where they travel should hand them over to the Palestinian justice system (or an international islamic court) to be tried for their crimes (at least they will have their day in court, which is more human than what their victims got). I also call upon peace-loving people inside the green line, such as Azmi Bashara, deputy kennest leader Tibi , Yossi Beilin, Mordechai vanuno amnong others, to launch a high profile compaign to get them handed over for trial.

because as the Geneva convention states, any place where militants are hiding is a legitimate target even a civilian target. In this case the whole blame of civilian deaths will be put on the militants that were hiding in that building, they were the ones that comitted a war crime. But since Israel doesn't recognise the international court and it won't turn in any of its citizens to a foreign country, he will never face trial.

If you really cared about peace between Arabs and Israelis then you would stop with your one sided, naive postings and seek to understand what is going on in this part of the world. All you Jews should remember, just because the arabs rejected peace over the past 100 years, and just because they started wars with the intention to destroy you and drive you into the sea, and just because they ethnically cleansed 1000000 jews from the arab lands, does not give you a right to move forward, build homes on land captured in your defensive wars, and live in peace. Unlike the PA whose positions Ms. Maynard supports so vehemently, Israel is a nation of LAWS that help to prevent abuse of power. If the woman is not a security threat and has not broken the law, she can enter and leave, even if we don't like her abuse of the UK legal system for political purposes. I doubt her visit to Israel will change her views. Why was she invited to take part in this seminar, anyway? Is she presenting?
