Israel should stop bringing in these people. We have enough trougle as it is. If the family is not Jewish, how do you expect them to feel towards Israel and its people, its culture, and everything else pertaining to the Jewish people and the State of Israel. Nobody is discriminating Russian-speaking Israeli youths. Besides, they are speaking Hebrew as well as the Natives and nobody can even guess that they are children of immigrants here. The root of the problem is in the belief that the native Israelis are not worth the latest russian aliya. From the very beginning in early 90-s I 've heard from the newcomers that they "brought the culture and science" to Israel hence the feeling of superiority which is in no means supported by the native Israelis. Besides, the expectations of sudden happy easy life haven't come true as quickly as the immigrants expected due mainly to the language barrier. Maybe if the Israeli government did not agree to the excessive number of russian language papers, radio and tv channels, the adult immigrants would have learned Hebrew quicker and could find better jobs. But they preferred to stay sequestred within their community until now, becoming almost self-sufficient and not needing most of Israeli services. Even at the government offices many russian immigrants always look for a russian-speaking employee and are very angry if once in a while they don't find one. In Israel it is common to put a "label" on every person according to his origin. Not only "Russians" are called so, but also Iraquis, Yemenites, Moroccans, Poles, Romanians, etc. This is not a discrimination - just a kind of a game here. "Russians" notice this game only on themselves while they don't hesitate to call Moroccans Moroccans and the whole of the native Israelis "Aborigenes".

Well, Baruch from Sweden, don't you think this sounds all a bit too undemocratic? The only way to preserve your dignity is to obey to the international laws on human rights. Putting people inside a internate or reschool them with force, just because they are Jewish self haters, is a beside all reality. If they harm others with their hatred they should be dealed with according to the laws as they are written down in the constitution. If you don't agree with these laws, go into politics and try to change them!

In The Netherlands, we have problems with a group of young Marocans.
