3. Palisinians will do anything to bastadise Israel
lemar ,   uk   (06.18.06)
Unfortunately Israel is naive and fall for it. Of course it was a put up job. Anti Israel UK papers wont report the German findings
4. Arab Credibility
Reuven Brauner ,   Raanana, Israel   (06.18.06)
I wasn't there. Most people who will comment on this incident weren't there either. I don't have access to the evidence or witnesses. Most people who will comment on this incident will also not have had access to either. Can the public accurately determine what really happened? Probably not. But, what we do have is a history of credibility and honesty to work on. For the most part, the IDF is honest. This not the case with the Arabs.
5. Pal's lie again
Avraham ,   Netivot   (06.18.06)
From the beginning anyone with half a brain could see that this whole "episode" was staged. So what else is new? PALESTINIANS LIE ALL THE TIME!
6. Interesting article..
Ram ,   London   (06.18.06)
finally someone asking the right questions. The girl wanted to be filmed? Hmmmmm. Bearded men more interested in the evidence that seeing to the dead and wounded? People on the beach 250 meters way not running for their lives? And yet the usual UK anti-semitic newpapers publish their lies!

8. acting?
josh ,   jerusalem   (06.18.06)
ellen hasn't gotten here yet so i'll say it for her. its not possible for them to be staging because the pentagon guy said it was real.
9. German Media
NYC Girl   (06.18.06)
This isn't the first time the Germans uncovered a major Palestinian scam. It was a German TV station that really blew the lid off the Mohammed al-Dura farce. Maybe they can teach their compatriots in Britain not to take everything the Palestinians say at face value.
10. Sound was doctored
sound technitian   (06.18.06)
the sound of sirne remain fixed although the camera man run away from the ambulance toward the beach. need to get the time stamp code from the original video this would allow: 1. the find out the time the photos were taken 2. time when sound was recorded
11. what do you think ellen/olivia from the bbc?
12. ISRAELI LIES: Israel showed
the whole world that its existence is based on a big lie so how about killing seven innocent people, ofcourse israelis lied, it is not the first time neither will be the last. INSANE PEOPLE They will never stop of lying to reach their filthy goals. Killing innocent became something normal for the Isaeli army of occupation (IOF) on a daily basis and the world is watching.

So, where is the Ellen? I bet she has to say smth.
14. Arrogance and more arrogance
Palestinian   (06.18.06)
I do not care who killed what! What I know is that Israel was established illegaly on others lands...! Millions of Jews brought in, millions of Arabs kicked out. I do not need an investigation in the matter cause it will not do anything even if Israel was guilty. There is a great guilt for Israel which is essential its creation. Its creation was the greatest guilt and tragedy this region is living!
15. No #11
Most likely o'el......
16. German media head & shoulders above British.
Tahl ,   Israel   (06.18.06)
It's no secret that the British media, has had a long history of virulent anti-Israel bias, often citing false Palestinian propeganda to promote their biased reporting. They stop at nothing to blacken and smear Israel's political image. It's so refreshing and heartening to see real, honest, unbiased reporting by true professionals - the same ones who uncovered the truth behind Muhammed Dura's killing (by Palestinian fire). Kol hakavod to the Germans. Our own lame PR people have a lot to learn from them.
17. #14 Yeah well you've been crying about that for 60 years
Caligula's Horse ,   Solomon's stables   (06.18.06)
Move on, you're no longer interesting, your genocidal ambitions and murderous behaviour is not accepted among human beings, the "Poor Palestinian" is no longer admired by anyone except for a bunch of ignorant looney leftists in Europe, and his terroristic approach is despised throughout the world. When you side with Saddam, Bin Laden, A-Zarqawi, Assad and Nassrallah your popularity among civilized people will drop, your face, which we have known for 90 years, is shown to the world, you do not seek indepedence, you do not seek freedom, you do not seek peace and you do not seek justice, you seek blood, nothing more and nothing less, and you shall drown in blood if that's the path you've chosen.
18. Palestinians killed themselves and American Gov did 911

20. #14:
jman ,   il   (06.18.06)
learn some history. the land of palestine/israel has never been an official arab state ever. go back in history since the first jewish exile and you will find that it has always been a mandate state of someone else's empire. just so happens that it is located smack in the arabian peninsula. so to use arab logic the israelis are just reclaiming land that was taken from them. how's that for the right of return/
21. 12 & 14
Tahl ,   Israel   (06.18.06)
12: On what exactly do you base your accusation of Israel? Can you actually PROVE it? Can you at least give support to your accusation? Funny how you neglected to read this article, and just dismissed it as "lies". Maybe it was just inconvenient for you to read it? If you can answer all the unanswered question raised by the German media - only then - you'd have the right to call this a "lie". Can you refute these questions? Can you give a better, sounder explanation, with no holes in it? I'm waiting to hear. But of course, saying "of course Israel lied" without providing any proof is a whole lot easier for you. 14: All of a sudden, when the Palliwood lies are exposed - then suddenly, you "don't care who killed what"? Haha, how convenient. As for the rest of your ranting, it is very general, we've heard it millions of times before, and it has no relevance to this news story. Go post it under some general news piece regarding the creation of Israel. But it certainly does not belong here. As it is, your post is quite rediculous: the news story says: Palestinians have many holes in their "beach massacre" story. Your response: "Israel's creation was the greatest guilt..." Genious, just genious.
22. #20: You have nor right whatsoever
If you have a right to return, then 2 billion christian have the right to live here to kick you out also! Give me a break. The right is for the one who own. We own this land, you like it or not. You are only gangsters who took it by force, and will do nothing until you are busted by force too! This is the language you understand
23. shells
Iraqi terrorists use 122mm shells to attack American armored vehicles so 155mm would leave a big crater and leave only body parts. Has Israel or somebody done autopsy to the dead? Or were palis too busy to bury them?
24. #12,you're a coward and a little shite...

26. ALLL the answers to the questions - Part 2
Reider ,   Bat Yam, Israel   (06.18.06)
Q: The footage also shows paramedics in green clothes and a dozen of bearded men looking for evidence. The newspaper asks whether the men are Hamas affiliates and wonders why they were preoccupied with collecting evidence rather than helping the injured. A: That’s because they are not paramedics, stupid. Do Israeli policemenBesides, the papers’ readiness to suppose that any man with a beard must be a Hammas member is rather fishy. Even so, they could be policemen (the beard was once again allowed for Palestinian police members briefly before the election), and even if they are Hammas members, so what? Hammas is the legitimate authority in Gaza, they are perfectly within their rights to be there. Another (astounding) option is that they are merely eyewitnesses. Q: Did Hamas men hide evidence from the scene, as claimed by eyewitnesses interviewed by Israeli broadcasters? A: If anyone can refer me to such claims by such eyewitnesses I would be delighted, since I’m pretty sure the German paper made it up. Q: Asked why he didn't try to calm Hadil instead of filming her… A: This is not his function. His function as cameraman and journalist is to document facts and distribute it. I think we can all agree that the uproar that his images have created are of much better service to Hadil and her late family than a hug or a pat on the head. Do you see CNN camermen in Iraq or in Israel going about offering candies to weeping soldiers and civilians? That’s not their job. A: …he said: "She asked me to film her. She wanted to be seen next to her father to show the world the crimes that Israel is committing." The newspaper finally asks: "Did the shocked 10-year-old girl, who had lost her father minutes earlier, give the cameraman direction instructions?" A: Now that’s plain evil, condescending and morose (particularly that nasty sarcasm). The question of whether she asked him to film or not itself is dumb – the footage clearly shows the girl staring wide-eyed at the camera, screaming “Film!! Film!!!!”. Generations of Palestinians had been raised on the awareness of the importance that rapid and public documentation have in prosecuting war crimes, they learned it from years and years of bitter experience with us Isralies. But even if you ignore that – hell, if MY family had been murdered by a state, I would MAKE SURE that every detail of the scene is captured on video, stills, you name it. I would hold back my tears for later and go fetch a stills and a video camera myself if necessary, document every little bit of it and then try to distribute it as wide as possible, because there is nothing better than I can to for my family and my society in such a situation, and I would welcome with open arms any people of the media at the scene. I think the girl deserves a solemn salute for realizing that, despite the panic and the shock, and I hope I would have had the guts to do the same.
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (06.18.06)
Bible, Leviticus 24:17 "If a man takes the life of any human being, he shall surely be put to death" Black Africans are the indigenous people of Sudan and are the majority population. The black Southern Sudanese Christians explain what "peace" means: If you agree to become a Muslim, you will have peace. If you reject Islam, you are at war. From 1955-1973, 1.5 million Christians were slaughtered by the Arab Muslim government in Khartoum. From 1983-2005, two million more Christians died from Khartoum's jihad. Murdering infidels is not considered a crime. Non-Muslim infidels are regarded as not entitled to human rights. Hundreds of thousands of Christians have been raped. Hundreds of thousands of Christian children and women taken for slaves. In the refugee camps, the Islamo-Fascist religious supremacist Khartoum government requires refugees to become Muslims in order to receive food and water. The genocide has resulted in the largest population of refugees on earth since the Second World War. The jihad in Sudan against Darfur's black African Muslims by Khartoum's racist Arab Muslim regime began in 2003. 400,000 black Muslims are dead. STOP Genocide - STOP Slavery - FREE the Slaves Bible, Exodus 21:16 "He who kidnaps a man, whether he sells him or he is found in his possession, shall surely be put to death"

you are saying that the jews came in and the arabs where kicked out... so why in israel there are stil above 1 million arabs, which live with them, work with them and enjoy the lives here? let's ask something else, who are the palestinian? where they came from? why they are saying this land is their? what was here before the jews came? what is here after the jews came? does the jews has the right to sit here? (and be objective by the history records) before the jews came to israk it was a land with no nation. there were nobody here, it was deserted place. while some people saw that the nation without land came here, it wasn't so pleased to their eyes so they start to show their interst in this land. the jews don't have a problem with arabs, the arabs have problem with jews.

Idan Stern ,   Jerusalem   (06.18.06)
...and there was a small Jewish kingdom for some 40 years 2,000 years ago, and then a Roman vassal state for another 60. Oh boy oh boy, have nailed those arabs now! It's amazing how people bleed their hearts over Jewish refugees 2000 years ago but can't even begin to recokgnize the predicament of Palestinian refugees 58 years ago. Compassion & justice are only good when their convenient, eh, boys?
30. ALLL the answers to the questions - Part 1
Reider ,   Bat Yam, Israel   (06.18.06)
Q: The newspaper said in footage of the beach taken by an IDF drone at the time of the attack, five craters left by IDF artillery shells could be seen, but that 250 meters away people could also be seen. The paper said it is strange that although shells exploded 250 meters away from a beach site where Palestinian families congregated, no one was seen running away or panicking. A: That’s interesting. I thought the IDF denied firing at the beach altogether? So where are the craters from? Or they did fire at the beach? Furthermore, 250 meters on a hilly terrain is quite a lot. Explosions rock Gaza all the time. Another option, if we believe all of the information from the IDF, is to conclude that these were old craters which had nothing to do with that attack. Q: Irbad told the newspaper he was told of the attack by paramedics who guided him to the scene. But no paramedics are seen until later in the footage, raising suspicions that he was first to reach the scene. Moreover, if Irbad was the first to get to the scene, why were most bodies covered by sheets? Who was there first to cover the bodies? The newspaper asked. A: First of all, the footage has been edited for transmission, and as someone who works in the media I can tell you that such footage (battles etc) is rarely edited with much attention to the chronological sequence. We’ll have to see the original to decide, but even if we take the footage as it is, the explanation is very simple – there is no road close to the beech, you can see paramedics running to and fro between the carnage and the ambulances. How about this for a sequence – Irbad arrives at the scene with the paramedics, they cover the dead and take some of the wounded, he starts shooting about the same time, and then the paramedics return again. Q: The newspaper also doubts Irbad's claim that Hadil was not injured because she was in the water when the shell exploded. His footage show her dry and fully clothed. A: Most girls in Gaza bathe fully clothed, for reasons of chastity (just like our orthodox girls). Furthermore, this German report and YNET’s reiteration of it are the only reports which say that the girl was in the water. All other reports state she was running about on the dunes when it happened. Even if she did go into the water, though, anyone who’d been to a beach in Israel knows how quickly clothes dry up, especially if they are synthetic (like the girl’s), and we can allow for anything between 15 minutes and half an hour of her running between the bodies of her family, and any time at all of her being out of the water before that attack. Even 15 minutes of rapid motion are enough to dry up such tiny clothes. Q: Another question raised by the newspaper is a shot of a man carrying a rifle next to the dead body of Hadil's father. The newspaper said in earlier footage, the same man was seen lying on the beach among the injured. A: At least the English editor of YNET has the decency to distance himself from such nonsense (“the newspaper said”), but it’s still unclear to me why it reprints such balderdash. To the point, though – the original German report said that “The man carrying a rifle is first seen standing next to the body of Hadil’s father, and in later frames he is lying on the ground, covered with a sheet”. I have to hand it to German technology – it’s amazing. How did they manage to recognize a man seen briefly in a smudgy frame in yet another smudgy frame, _under a sheet_? They should work for David Copperfield, I tell you.
