There is no amount of protection to save him if only the IDF was given the go ahead.
2. Israel can't deal with Gaza ,so it turns to Damascus
Marcel ,   Florida   (06.27.06)
Israel's hands are tied by President Bush and Olmert isn't permitted to threaten the illusion of peace by ending the terrorist threat from Gaza ,so the wimpy P.M. of Israel targets one Hamas man living in Damascus instead of the terrorists and their heads responsible in Gaza. Are any of you buying the con job from Israel's latest puppet on a restrained string ?

It was obvious from the first that well trained terrorsits took our young soldier prisioner and also the minor civilian boy. Syria and Iran and Sudan. We are not suprized. This global terror which uses these states to train and equip and the sooner they are glass the better. Kidnappers are basically cowards. They deserve the death penalty which is what they get around the world in every civilized country.

If Lansky, Lepke, Red Levine, and some of the other guys were still alive and running Israel I can tell you what would happen. Meshal, his immediate family, his extended family, every living thing right down to the pets would be dead. Every second that this goes on is weakening Israel. This is a seminal moment and Olmert and Peretz must act. This poor kid is an inch away from being another Ron Arad, bound for an Iranian hell hole and written off by the government.

I notice that Marcel has posted another of his (her) idotic explanations of Israel actions. Of course we all know who side he (she) favors. Now, Israel, in accusing Syria of fomenting the trouble, is itself condemned by Marcel for not resolving the Gaza problem. That's like saying Bush and Rumsfeld are really not responsible for the mishaps in Iraq. Or as one famous US general said over 10 years ago, you kill it by cutting off it's head. Israel can (and should) wipe out the militants in Gaza ASAP. But the real enemies are Iran and Syria. A good raid over Damascus will cure lots of ills, and bring this to a head once and for all. I'll bet against Marcel and for Israel. Come on Marcel....get real.
13. Protection?
Arie   (06.28.06)
The syrians are at the forefront of world terrrorism. Placing syrian 'security' to protect him will only mean more terrorists dead when the inevitable retribution occurs
14. Fate of Terrorist leaders
Brod ,   USA   (06.28.06)
Terrorist leaders everywhere deserve the same treatment as those who planned 9/11. No country can shelter them from those who cry for justice.
