There was a problem in the patriot program that caused an accumulated timing error when the system was activated for more than 24 hours. This timing error resulted in missing several targets. Israel has the 4th largest army in the world, and beleive it, those guys and gals are a mean fighting machine. They have sophisticated weponry second only to the US. If Syria, Iran, or anyone else sticks their nose in where it doesn't belong, they will again feel the wrath they deserve. I can only hope that the next time US soldiers are captured in Iraq, we follow the Israelis lead, and strike back with vengence and furious anger, rather than let our men be butchered in the desert.

Does anyone know the reason these people are abducting Isreali soldiers? Well consider yourself told that Isreal has kidnapped hundreds of palestinian and lebanese civilians with no charge or trial. I find it ironic that an agent for a self declared Godless government would be quoting the Bible. What should be clear for most is that the Chinese, North Korean and Iranian government's contrived this whole mess to deflect attention away from the real issue of nuclear proliferation. This whole round of violence is just a ruse to disguise and delay attention away from their joint nuclear ambitions. You are right Patriot, the USA is powerful. Consider it is the only nation to have ever actually had the firepower to take over the world literally, but does not. In every conflict we rebuild the nation that went to war against us and end up leaving them with better economies and democracies that more often than not- oppose us. I, having studied political science as an undergrad and later through my doctorate work, have long held on the side of the Palestinians. However, and to be totally honest, the Israelis response here is warranted. It seems, in retrospect, that I have been mistaken in my support for Palestine . . . . the more the Israelis work toward a future of peace between the two, the more they appear to be taken advantage of. I, for one, say 'good job Israel.' Further, I applaud the work of the U.S. and in particular, the Christian 'right,' for it's firm support of Israel (Pastor John Hagee would be proud . . . . I'm sure.)
