While the civilian casulties are mounting up, with under 30 israelis and 160 libanese, and 7 canadians the IDF claims it wants to spare civilians lives. (Hezbollah has ofcourse no such moral qualms). But is the IDF entirely honest? They warn people to leave the targeted areas at the same time thay make it practically impossible. The destroy bridges, airports and routes out of the country. Why is the IDF hitting civilian infrastructre? I feel a need to apologise on behalf of the left-wing media in our country. Please understand that they for many years have not reflected the attitude or will of the majority of Americans for the last 2 or 3 decades. Most of the US television and print media (radio excepted) are unobjective left-wing socialist liberal kooks which hate Bush passionately and are often against Israel, yet are much in favor of many ills of any society, such as the terrible cancer of homosexuality.

I am a second generation Egyptian Arab. Looking objectively and without partiality at the middle east situation, this is what I see........I see a tiny Israel that is craving for peace during countless years and being constantly hounded by my so-called Arab brothers. My insight as as being Muslim, is that they do not wish to see Israel exist and have built up groundless hatred over the years toward the Jews. I could ask any one of my associates why this is so and they cannot give me a satisfactory answer. Yes I misjudged the Jews who I had thought had gone soft, giving up land and holding back retaliation against terrorist groups who threaten their very existance. I for one Arab am open minded and reasonable and sadly this is rare amonst us. You need to ride Lebanon and Gaza of all terrorist groups that threaten you and at this point negotiations will not help.
