I have been in touch with our classmates today and we are all proud of his courage to serve in combat in IDF which is the ultimate display of Zionism.

11. Israel - Most GLORIOUS NATION that EVER INHABITED this EARTH
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (07.27.06)
My condolences to the families of the heroes of Israel. John Adams, second president of the United States, wrote to a friend: "I insist that the Hebrews have done more to civilize men than any other nation...they are the most glorious nation that ever inhabited this earth" israelnationalnews.com Machal: The Forgotten Heroes by Solly Ganor May 07, 2003 ...They came from all over the world to lay down their lives for the defense of Israel... After the British left on May 14, 1948... to help defend the fledgling state against the combined armies of the Arab countries... ...deep down all of us had the same feeling: "We had a need" to come and defend our ancient homeland. It was as if a call echoing through all the generations of Jews had come down to us from Mount Sinai. Most of us were not religious people, but I heard that sentiment expressed by many of the volunteers... "Those of us who fought in World War II and helped defeat the Nazis were there for an additional purpose. We were being prepared by destiny for the battle for Israel...never in the history of the Jewish people was there a worthier cause to fight for. http://www.israelnn.com/article.php3?id=2256

15. IDF sending soldiers on suicide missions
Mark Kerlen ,   Montreal, Canada   (07.27.06)
Why did IDF generals send these young soldiers on a suicide mission? To me it seems IMMORAL for Israeli generals to send in soldiers house to house to fight against "rocket launchers, missiles, rocket-propelled grenades" without adequate support. The civilians were warned to leave the town - so if hezbollah is suspected to be residing inside a house - FLATTEN IT! If the IDF is not prepared to flatten the house, whether it be for political or other reasons - so be it - but DON"T SEND YOUNG SOLDIERS ON A SUICIDE MISSION.
16. eyes cannot stay dry reading this
alan ,   frisco   (07.27.06)
All these young men cut down in their prime fighting to make Israel safe from terror. We honor their names by continuing their struggles and ambitions for peace which can only be achieved once terror is eliminated. All over the world tears fall for these young men. We shall triumph despite our losses. We shall not forget their galantry or the sacrifices of their families.
17. STOP THE WAR IMMEDIATELY
advisor ,   Russia   (07.27.06)
Israerl people must press on goverment immediately before pouring more tears on other killed soldiers & citizans as Ran Cohen told Olmert that he is" taking israel to blood shower as want Hizbollah ". After 1982 invasion to lebanon borned Hizbollah, what may born after this time ,time will show us.If Israel want to live in peace with its Arab neighbours ,it must change its policy & sit for real peace talkings even with Hamas, Hizbollah, syria & Iran, to get peace in future & not to lose good young soldiers because of such idiots as Olmert & Peretz

20. so lets say israel wins this battle
dafer ,   jerusalem   (07.27.06)
which i have no doubt what so ever they will , and i must say it will not be a big win , because there is a big casulty number on the israeli side even though its not over , but my point is to prove that israel is fighting a loosing war , yes they are winning most of the battles , but they are not winning the war , the only thing that will give israel peace and security is the total withdrawl of lebanon and the palestine , the release of all the lebanease and palestinian prisinors and to solve the refugee problem . this is the only soloution that will give the israelis peace . so the people of israel must wake up and force there leaders to do this , they do not deserve to live this kind of life where they have to be at war all there lives . some of you jews might try to justify your fight , but your justification will never help you , the whole world knows what occupation is , and you will have enemies forever if you dont wake up . may god bless all the deaths that where caused by this unjustified war on both sides , and may we all live in peace and brotherhood , WE DESERVE IT
21. Stop this war

25. A sad day for Israel...
Khaled ,   Amman, Jordan   (07.27.06)
I don’t think we are being too harsh on Israel and their military response, I mean after all, it's not like they can decide when to stop. It's the Americans telling them what to do. Just like Hezbollah is being controlled like a puppet by Iran and Syria, poor Israel is now left to do America’s dirty work losing the lives of its soldiers and civilians. Americans are probably thinking, "We're the ones paying for the IDF, we might as well get something out of it..." I'm used to Hezbollah being a pawn, but I never imagined proud Israel to allow itself to be manipulated like that. This is a war between Iran and the US. Israel and Hezbollah are just the pawns.
26. very good
(07.27.06)
:)
27. To my fallen brothers
Jenny   (07.27.06)
This breaks my heart. We know you fought to save us from Holocaust #2. No matter what the anti-Semites type here, please know that you are OUR heroes and in our hearst forever. There is no army on earth like the IDF and you are righteous beyond comparison.
28. #1
Mick ,   Australia   (07.27.06)
Hey Alex since u have so much simpathy for killers why don't you go and fight may G-D give you also his blessing
29. Jenin repeat & Israels failure to understand basics
Lemar ,   uk   (07.27.06)
What a load of fools repeating the strategy of Jenin. Only a brainless idiot would not have realised there would be an ambush when entering the main Hizbollah camp. With such people in charge I fear for Israel. Anyone can make a stratigic error once but to repeat it it unforgivable. Israel, no army has ever won a 'nice' war. Why do you think you have been having wars since 1948. It is not that the Muslims wont accept Israel but because you keep winning small battles but have yet to defeat the enemy. With Israel's current strategy WW2 would still be going on. Israel you must be ruthless, forget public opinion and go for all out victory else you wont be around lmuch longer as the next mini war will be a nuclear bomb on Tel Aviv.
30. HY"D!!!
Michael Steiner   (07.27.06)
May G-d avenge the blood of the fallen heros, now risen to a better place. Back on earth, the government should relinquish operational control of the Army and decision-making concerning logistics to the Army itself. There have been countless examples throughout Israel's battles of stupid government decisions costing lives on the field: Gen. Arik Sharon documented only some of them in his biographies. The soldiers on the ground are complaining that they are undersupported. FIX THIS NOW!!!
