My buddies did not die for our country or flag or G-d for that matter. They died for those next to them. G-d rest there souls. I can't expect others to understand the intimate moments of horror, but don't you dare judge us. When talking heads spew judgments about me or Israel for that matter, I suggest you speak to G-d and then listen. Perhaps, you're anguish is born of ignorance or the sounds of your wounded souls. There are only two questions that we need ask. Do we want to live? And are we willing to embrace the horror? Our children ask the most important question. "Is it safe?" So, Talking heads what is your answer? Remember, our enemies have sworn to murder all of us regardless of our love and deeds.

It's refreshing to see some moral clarity coming out of Europe.

Funny, since this conflict started all we have heard is 10-14 days are needed. I have a feeling that in another 10-14 days we will still be hearing the same.

On 8/22 Iran says it will answer the UN's demand that it stop nuclear enrichment. Meanwhile, it waits to see if it's porxy war will work. If Iran feels they are winning, they will be emboldened. If Olmert gets off the toilet and goes all out to suppress the terrorists, Iran will be chastened, and the whole western world will benefit.

I spent 12 wonderful days in Israel this past Dec. and January and the vast number of Israelis I met were gracious and very welcoming to tourists. Fortunately, I did not meet any Israelis with a chip on their shoulder like #51. This person was not only rude in his reply to a true friend of Israel who happens to live in the US, he was too dumb to even begin disputing the points I made in my posting. He seemed on ly interested in alienating friends of Israel. Second, a recent poll of Israelis showed 71% of the population found flaws in the military campaign and favored a stronger grounmd response to deal with the rockets that are being fired into Israel by Hezbollah. Third, Israel is a country for all Jews to love and be concerned about. Obviously Israelis pay the most for the privilege of living in Eretz Yisrael and are the ones who have to fight for the IDF. However, that doesn't mean that Diaspora Jews do not have the right to make suggestions.

Lebanon had obligations under UNSCR 1559 to displace and disarm Hizbollah. They did not. The overflights were needed to gather intelligence used to deal with the eventuality that Israel would have to do the job itself. No apologies will be given.
