Israel should do a decent job on pacification of Syria once for GOOD! Syria has obsolate Russian weapons ALL OTHER ARAB NEIGHBORS HAVE US MADE WEAPONS. Syrian Mig's and Suhoi planes have still inferior Air Force and electronics which would give Israel a markable advantage. Syria calculates that it would be some "face-saving" operation that will provide Syria position simmilar to the Egypt's in 1972/ It would be of pivotal importance to EDUCATE this Arab bully once for good ... a really really GOOD. Israel should go trough Syria to the Kurdish sector and LIBERATE THE KURDS from Syrian and Iraqi TYRANICAL domnion. Free Kurdistan would be the ONLY NATURAL ALLY to Israel and WEST in the whole region... with the main OIL RESERVES on their soil. Israel has to realise that its interests and i.e. NATO interests are not "ncessary" the same and it has to act for ITS BEST interest on the long run. I've been reading the talk-backs posted by the trigger happy people of Israel and elsewhere. To be realistic, I do agree with most of you regarding Syria's humble army capabilities. I do however like to note the following: What if there's a little surprise under Syria's belt? Hizbolla struck your kick-ass vessel, and bombed your entire northern sector, forced many into shelters and our of their homes. One thing worth remembering that Hizbolla's weapons came through Syria. Now imagine if Syria had at least 5 times as many short-medium-long range missiles as Hizbolla has. What'll happen to your precious Israel?! Your war planes couldn't stop Hizbolla's strikes for 19 days, what makes you think they'll stop Syria's. And Syria would go straight for Tel Aviv. On another level, Syria's beloved Iran might also become a part of this. One point to keep in mind: Syria: 17 million people, Iran: 70 million people. Israel: around 3 million people. If Syria enters this war, then God be with you. Cause it'll be either Syria or your last fight, and either way, havoc and destruction will prevail. Shalom.

I like to see how Syria enters the war and is decimated without any air force. Have they forgotten their mesrable defeat in 1982? I guess the son wants to follow his daddy. They may enter the conflict but they have no Arab country to follow them. No more Jordan or Egypt who have had enough of defeats from Israel.
