61. #28, I don't need to believe my country
Danny   (08.06.06)
It is on the Reuters website, the people who came out with the picture. So far Israeli media has turned out to be infinitely more reliable than other media. An example is Qana, the only case we have were casualties on the Lebanese side were double-checked and not only were they wrong but the they were out by a factor of two. Name one instance where Israel has claimed double the number of Israeli casualties as are the case or half the number of IDF casualties as were the case.
62. BIG DEAL
Ragusa   (08.06.06)
Please cut the anit-jew crab. This is just a stupid photographer who needed a sell for a quick buck. Anyway, there is not really a shortage of pictures of severe bombings. Not in israel - not in Libanon - not in Gaza.
63. hizbollah are great liers!!!
israel will win   (08.06.06)
they use civilians, force them to stay in the villages, and than show their corps to the media--they really dont care about those dead children. yesterday they published an exposion of an israeli warship--but those bastards used a photo of an australian warship bobmed years ago. the hizbollah is in a so bad situation so that they try anything. nasrallahws end is very close---but SURPRISE---he's going to be killed, not by the israelis, but by the satan from teheran.
64. Someone should expose "Little Green Footballs"
(08.06.06)
65. Now i see israelis yakkin about media?
Naturei Karta ,   Occupied Palestine   (08.06.06)
like in all my blogs, i don't believe this site will publish them but i'll say it anyway. Do we nowadays see israelis. who were masters of fake media and bribers of american and europeen and world TVs and magazines, crying and yaking and complaining ,even appearing pathetic and yet "innocents" about the arab media? and asking " how much did ahmadienajad pay the reuters?" and lots of criticizing to AFP ? and ENGLAND? and CNN? heh... come on, all those you used to bribe and support because they are the only "HONEST" and "DECENT" medias are now anti-semists and TERRORISTS SUPPORTERS and lotsa other names?.... come on, in a war, one must win, and u r not that one , admitt it , u can't always win, this time u r sinking in the lebanese mud that u involved urselves in, get a life, go change ur policy and follow the talmud followed by www.nkusa.org, maybe u get back some of ur dignity and pride, instead of beating young jewish people at the rallies in tel aviv, not everyone who is against u is anti-semist, because arabs too are semists,no wonder no one in the world love u, they sent u to palestine from europe because they wanted to get rid of the scum, so they authorized that to the french and english the damn bloody SYKES-PICO, may hachem curse them and Theodor Hertzel in one day ! , selam aleikem

Did you say something?
67. Dan Rather Has a New Job
Roscoe TD ,   Midlothian, VA   (08.06.06)
Wait to Go Reuters! I think that Hiring Dan Rather and His Team of Fabricators shows Warmth and Compassion for your fellow Liars!
68. My $30.00 can do that
Charles Westmoreland ,   Houston   (08.06.06)
Relax, it's not like they were planting stories about flushing Korans or anything like that.
69. truth in liberal media? HAhahahah!
Steve ,   USA   (08.06.06)
Are you expecting facts? Get real. You have to read between the lines if you want the truth.
70. Keeping a sense of perspective
(08.06.06)
Instead of getting all worked up and drawing conspiracy theories on one photo, why not check those... http://web.amnesty.org/library/Index/ENGMDE150732006 http://www.hrw.org/english/docs/2006/08/02/lebano13902.htm http://hrw.org/english/docs/2006/08/05/lebano13921.htm
71. #7 So what to do with the truth
DK ,   Berkeley Springs, US   (08.06.06)
Are you implying that the truth doesn't matter in reporting? If your point is made and things appear worse based on innaccurate reporting there is no cause for outrage over media lies? My it must be nice to live in your world with a head filled with delusions and all the nice mushrooms to consume. Of course it matters, you dolt! If the media puffs up every alleged Israeli "massacre" by doubling the casualties I'm pretty sure that paints an entirely different picture is painted of the whole situation. This picture is obviously "enhanced," although the person responsible should probably seek a refund from whoever he paid for Photoshop lessons. I have a pretty strong background in retouching photos and this one is beyond obvious. This is an outright lie and an attempt to make up news, much like the whole CBS fiasco with fabricated Air National Guard documents about President Bush. Recall if you will that Dan Rather commented after the fact that even though the docs were fake he stood by the story. This is what you sound like...lacking in any form of credibility whatsoever. Rather is out of a job because nobody (that matters)trusts a reporter who doesn't rely on the real facts.
72. Gabrielle Goldwater is back ---- HOOOOOOORay
(08.06.06)
The Pea-Head is back, fighting on her monitor. Now Israel can proclaim victory. (Advise to Gabbie: go back to your Porno sites. Its safer for you)

74. #62 Ragusa, get a clue
Jeff S. ,   New York, USA   (08.06.06)
The photographer Adnan Hajj's work is regularly used by al-Reuters, and it is uniformly tendentious and propagndist. Acquire some knowledge about whom you speak before you post an opinion.
75. #3, talk about manipulation...
Aaron Ferguson ,   FL USA   (08.06.06)
It's deceptive to ignore the many deaths that have accumulated in Israels by Hizabollah terrorists and only recognize the destructive retaliation by Israel. Wake up and stop deceiving yourself is a message you should tell yourself. Atleast you dont see Israel hiding in the suburban areas during conflict, hiding behind civilian homes as anti-aircraft missiles are being launched. Do you think these terrorists don't know that the retaliation in those areas will incure deaths upon these civilians? Get real... It's the same thing that Palestians would do when using women and children as human shields.
76. what is the problem?
Rob ,   Tallahassee. florida   (08.06.06)
77. Whats the problem?
Rob ,   Tallahassee, Florida   (08.06.06)
the real issue is that here in this country the liberal media have manipulated the hezbolla into a club of doright boyscouts.

79. Closely check out all the other Adnan Hajj photography

Closely check out all the other Adnan Hajj photography, or all the other Reuters photogrophers' work. You'll be surprized.
80. Praying for Nukes
(08.06.06)
Lebanon and Israel should be nuked.
81. faked photo
Maria ,   US   (08.06.06)
After seeing how poorly the cloning tool was employed in this photo, frankly I think Reuters owes its readers more than an apology. What an insult to even amateur Photoshop users! How could a world renowned news agency attempt to get away with such a pathetic effort? (I mean, couldn't he have even used the healing tool to blend the edges for crying out loud?) This was just terrible. Did an editor even see it? The next question is, why would anyone do this? What ends are they trying to achieve in doctoring a photo, and the obvious question of course: where has journalistic integrity gone? I personally will never read a Rueters story again. But are the other big outlets much farther behind? You can't believe any of it anymore... (Thanks LGF for continuing to promote the truth.)
82. to #22
(08.06.06)
Are you saying that the children whose bodies have been photographed deserved to be killed??!!
83. Will Al-Reuters be a covered party...
Reginald ,   Atlanta, USA   (08.06.06)
Will Al-Reuters be a covered party in the UN resolution currently being negotiated? I mean, is this really and truly an effort to disarm terrorist organizations?

85. KUMAH!!!
(08.06.06)
if you're reading this and you feel like the American/British/the majority of the media is biased against Israel do something!!! Write letters, make phonecalls do something. If enough people do something it can really make a difference. also for all of these anti-israel, anti-US, anti-everything people have a little bit of respect. I could never imagine sending terrible and hurtful posts to lebanese people. If you used your time to do something for peace rather than hate you'd accomplish a lot more.
86. In related story Blogger gets death threat from Reuters!
R ,   USA   (08.06.06)
This problem is DEEP. The blogger who posted the fake photo gets a "Zionist Pig" death threat from a Reuters Employee. Reuters has fired him. http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/news/1640202/posts?page=1

No, what haunts me when I go to sleep is the thought of the American GIs that died in two world world wars to save the cheese eating surrender monkeys in France like you.
88. Reuters Photo
Troy ,   Virginia, USA   (08.06.06)
The employee who doctored the Beruit smoke photo is suspended from their organization until he can get better at working photo editing software, then he can have his old job back.
89. Liberal Media at work again
Ken ,   Nashville, USA   (08.06.06)
You can only believe half (if that much) of what the liberal media says and SHOWS!!
90. Lebanese innocents
Dan ,   USA   (08.06.06)
for some it is tragedy, for others ..... "if you lie down with dogs, you wake up with fleas." It makes me sick that many of my blood have accepted dhimmitude.
