Rather than suffer a return to the civil war it feared, Lebanon chose to turn a blind eye to the Iranian cancer eating away at it. Lebanon chose instead to allow Hizbullah to arm itself with an arsenal of weapons more powerful than the Lebanese army. Lebanon allowed Hizbullah to turn everything south of Beirut into a military encampment aimed at Israel. Lebanon allowed Hizbullah to continue to attack Israel from Lebanese soil. So, Lebanon, with an army of more than 60,000 men allowed itself to become hostage to 10,000 jihadists. Unfortunately, when you choose to sleep with dogs, you wake up with fleas. When you sleep with Katyushas you end up dead.

What everyone seems to forget is this is a WAR - I hope that Israel keeps fighting until they driver the terrorists totally out of Lebannon. The USA should have done the same thing in Iraq, and we would not be there now. I hope Israle does not stop until every terriorist is dead.

The feature stories on the war pictured almost entirely photos of Lebanese civilians and Israeli soldiers. One of the photos of an Israeli soldier looked doctored too - at least it seemed to have been chosen for its resemblance to the "Satanic Jew" type of illustration the Nazis used.
