Chose a side, brother. HizbAllah stuffed up and was being "adventurous". I believe it was even for the wrong reasons. But that gives Israel absolutely no right to bomb Lebanon and its Infrastructure, its innocent civilian who were just enjoying the summer, and put the country back 20 years. Don't have a four week old memory, look at history. Israel is surely by far the greater of two devils. What? You expect the guy to go on tv and announce that he lost.? Hez. had it good. Not being kicked out despite a UN resolution. No Lebanese government around. Lebanon is completely destroyed, there are a million Shiite refugees, Hezbollah suffered by far heavier casualties than the IDF, they lost territory which included their front line fortifications and yet, they claim that they won the war. What a twisted mind-set.

Lebanon needs rebuilding. Chirac cosies up to them. Offers French troops and no doubt plenty of construction companies. Olmert , this was your moment and you bottled it. That's what happens when you put liberals and socialists into government. The French could never protect themselves so how do you expect them to protect Israel? If you must give ground at least demand that Serbian forces are deployed in Lebanon that way at least you'll know that you have a friend in the north.

What we need is an agreement from both sides. Israel is destroying our beloved country, and no one seems to care. In the mean time, I agree that Hezbollah should stop the rockets. Hence, a cease fire from both sides must be reached.

While there are some points that I don't agree with Israel on, as a whole, I think they are doing the dirty work that I think everyone wishes they would do: get rid of terrorists. Hello there, I keep hearing people telling the lebanese to expel huzballah. How in God's name are we supposed to do that, when those people are actually lebanese (Although only in name, as they really work for iran and syria). Not only that, but we cant even use our weak army to do anything thanks to syria paralyzing it, during the last 30 odd years. We are hoping that israel is gonna weaken them and hopefully the army will get stronger soon, to act for the government, instead of these fanatic radicals! And of course our greatest wish is to see syria 's turn next!!!

I learnt one thing from being a parent..that if i say something to my kids I better stand behind my words..if i dont and they deem me to be weak, then the next time I threaten them they will laugh in my face. First we go into full scale war mode, but we wont call it a war we will call it something else, so we dont have to compensate all of us here in the northern (home) front who are dealt the blows on a daily/nightly basis. If you want to punish someone then make it something they wont forget..and dont make big promises about things you not sure u can keep. The military has had its hand tied, loss of funding, not enough updating, not enough technology..and lo and behold you go to Hiz bunkers and they have the lasted state of the art technology...who assumed that they were not preparing for this..where was Intelligence, hiding behind Mr. Perez's words. With all due respect, my association with Perez is Yaspan playing him and I think that role is best suited him..He has no military background.
