Dear Linda, I can understand that you might be very upset with the outcome of this war. But go easy on yourself and check again the facts. You cannot reason correctly if you think that everyone hates you and wants to kill you and drive you into the water etc... I can say: It is easier to prove that Israel is a terrorist state than it is to prove that the resistance is. (choose any definition of terrorism you want kidnapping - killing civilians terrorizing people etc...). The resistance said the day of the kidnap that they will not invade Israel and they want an exchange of prisoners. The Israeli aggression was not self defence but an offensive attack and a revenge. Your leaders said it was not anymore a matter of kidnapping. The resistance conducts guerilla type war, and tehy never hide this fact. Finally, I am not aware of the resistance wanting today or tomorrow to turn lebanon into a muslim country. The Arab world spent 400 years under Turkish rule. I don't think they're anxious to fall under Iranian rule. The Arab world is in the position (again) to expect the west to protect them from other Muslim aggressors. Hezbollah (Iran) is bad for everyone but Iran. I just watched SKY and FOX news and southern Lebanon is no more, 15,000 homes have been levelled in one town alone, the devastation is on a massive scale. Hezbullah headquarters is a pile of rubble, almost a million people have no homes to go to, and there have been mass burials of the dead. So, once again, what exactly did he defend? He started this whole dreadful situation over a month ago. Nobody won this war, there are only losers, as in any war. Nasrallah has told the Lebanese people he will pay to have their homes rebuilt, in an attempt to, once again, show them how great he is and guess what? they suck it all up. They don't understand that they had a life and a home before he invaded our land. Just like his son was killed by Israel, he to will meet his end by an Israeli bullet.

This is one of the largest victories in Muslim history. How was it not a victory for Hizbullah? If Israel won, they would have never agreed to a diplomatic resolution especially one that doesnt directly disarm Hizbullah! Israel originally thought that this was going to be the usual 3-day war and Hizbullah wiould get scared and back down. This was obviously not the case and Israel was hurt badly. They went in to get their soldiers and came out without them. I dont like Hizbullah but I really beleive they won this one.
