You are both right. Organisations like AI are important. AI should though, be more balanced in the way of reporting. There will be a (bashing) report on Hezbollah, yet it should have been published the same day as the Israeli-bashing one and contain as many pages and elaborated on both the same accuses. Now,.. I am sure Hezbollah would turn out way more evil than Israel - yet the way it is presented now, makes Israel way more evil than Hezbollah. That's turning the world upside down. Amnesty should be more aware of this. (also concerning the many reports concerning Israel and in that perspective the lack of reports concerning Eritrea or Congo or Sudan. I know that openess of the country - and the amount of human rights organisations and activists in the country themselves has to do with it (it would be hard for an organisation like Bt Selem to survive in Sudan, e.g.) - but that should be made clear to the world population. The amount of reports - even the severity of often made allegations (instead of hard proof) - doesnt say much about the bad condition a county concerning human rights issues might be. The large amount of reports on Israel, make the whole world go crazy at Israel, while silent on the severe abuses in Eritrea. I am not saying that one should be silent about human rights issues in Israel, but give Israel some space. The overreporting concerning Israel only works contra-productive.

I think its time for Israel to create an Amnesty or something for the Jew. The argument is clear: no NGO protects them. You are not going to get any attention talking to them, and considering they have no authority, it is clear this would be also hasbaraah.

I would consider that Israel made a mistake, I would consider that they overlooked some things, that they did were not thorough enough, not careful enough, not professional enough. But deliberately? I think people are generally tired of Amnesty International and don't really listen anymore, when they complain about Israel for every little thing people don't take them seriously. They are becoming a bit of a joke in England. Most people find them irritating, a little like animal rights activists. They are not really doing any good in a siuation like this they should be spending more time focusing on 'real' genocides like in Africa, If they criticise Israel then they are only alienating themselves from the West and this will do them no good in the long term.

Both ‘UN & Amnesty International’ have no right to criticize Israel when they failed to stop Hezbollah operating in civilian areas of Lebanon since years. Has Amnesty checked the damage by themselves? Or are they relying on senhor senhora's reports? First, the Muslim Lebanese population is not so "innocent" as tearily depicted by those whose mission is accusing Israel for having the nerve to defend itself from attacks originated by fanatical Muslim terrorists. This Muslim population has notoriously aided in every way, hidden among themselves and daily encouraged terrorists. This, therefore, is a population of terrorists whose main objective is the complete annihilation of not only the state of Israel, but of every Jewish civilian living in it. The third point is that next times Israel –– knowing that will it be condemned anyway –– should make war like a war should be fought according to the instructions of Torah. Let's do the math-7000 airstrikes and 2500 naval bombardments, and ONLY 1100 people killed? Who was doing the israeli targeting-Stevie Wonder? Considering that supposedly 28 people were killed in one strike, Israel should have an inquiry on how you can drop 10,500 pieces of ordinance and have such a low total of casualties. And of course they were all innocent civilians.
