"Resistence" is not appropriate when peace negotiations are an option. They were not an option for either side until Oslo. But since then, the Palestinians have on one hand held a gun, and the other an olive branch - these are words that paraphrase Arafat's own in his first speech to the UN. What you are missing is that this reduces all peace moves made by Arabs to a tactical level rather than a strategic one, undermines Israel's faith that concessions yielded in favor of the Palestinians will result in peace rather than a better position for the Palistinians to attack, and it undermines as well those who are interested in peace amongst the Arabs because they know that the political moves are merely a means to the end of being able to undermine the Jewish state. Again, what you continue to miss is that the Palestiinians are not the only ones who suffer in the world - nobody amongst the Jews blew themselves up in German restaurants, nor have they plowed airliners into buildings. The problem with your view, and that of Arabs generally, is their inability to understand that the ends to not justify all means, that they have had other options to reach settlement that they have ignored and undermined, and that it is impossible to have a "just" settlement that is such for both sides and therefore that Arabs also must compromise even more than they think they have already. The alternative is not going to be the destruction of Israel, Faisal, but that of the Palestinians - if that is really of interest to you. The evidence of this is in Gaza.

Of all the UNSCR's passed that relate to Israel, there is not a single one that does not also have obligations that the Arab nations surrounding Israel must also meet. That they did not meet their obligations to cease belligerency has caused Israel's inability to completely comply with its end. These are facts, too, Faisal. Read the text of the UNSCR's and you'll see. And yes, unlike Palestinians we don't pass out candies when civilians die. I think that the onus that Israelis kill civilians purposefully and that Palestinians are snow white innocents is on you to prove.
