These Lebanese troops were received with great joy and relief in several villages in Southern Lebanon who hat nod seen a Lebanese soldier in 30 or 40 years. I base this realization largely on what Muslims themselves say regarding how they love death and what they do to facilitate it, including sending off their "shahids" to murder Jews (or non-Jews, for that matter). Muslims care even less about Jewish, Christian, or Hindu life, which is obvious enough. So, why NOT incinerate actively hostile Muslims, including women and children, if they are human shields for targets of military value? The plus side is that most Muslim use of "civilians" in war would cease the moment that "civilian" presence made not a bit difference in the targeting. BTW, we must be careful in dehumanizing the enemy. But what if the enemy really ISN'T human?

There were very few deaths in this conflict considering the firepower. If a European country had attacked there would have been tens of thousands killed, but IDF has more morals and higher standards than Europe.
