ygalg   (09.25.06)

Apparently your refined taste for mass murder is more pesuading than my historical "would be" analogy and YNET gladly oblige your hypocracy.

95. Same old left propaganda
Daniel ,   Israel   (09.25.06)
The latest round of Hamas-Hezballah-Iran-aggression against Israel, brought the vast majority of the Israelis to the reality of the Middle East. There is nothing we Israelis/Jews can change or do in order to make the islamo-fascists happy, except committing national suicide and become oppressed dhimmi objects under Islam's rule. Since very few Israelis are prepared to do this, it is time to focus on Israel's needs and ignore the rest. Mrs Aloni should join other self-hating Jews in exile to Europe where they can apologize all day long that they exist at universities that are closed to Jews with self-respct.. Aloni should also try to establish a "peace" village in Gaza city where she can talk to "progressive" islamo-fascists about how much protection-money she has to pay a dhimmi object to her Muslim ruler.

98. Time to talk peace? Peace with those who...
Beth Landau ,   Tel Aviv   (09.25.06)
have the aim of forcing their religion on the whole world and are exceptionally brutal and fanatical in their actions. The best way of understanding their bloodthirsty ways is to read the Koran itself. The 'islamic radicals' and 'islamic terrorists' are the ones who actually interpret the Koran most accurately. It says 'kill all Jews and Christians wherever you may find them', and 'if you die fighting for ALLAH you will go to Heaven and receive many Virgins' The Koran is also anti democratic, and its interpretation requires that ALLAH's rules should not be overruled by mere mortals through elections, as this would be an infringement of ALLAHs will (ie the Koran) and the rules for life laid down in its pages. The Koran also does not treat women equally; encourages the persecution of homosexuals and supports sexual relations with children. I believe that this makes Islam an unacceptable religion, one which is incompatable with Western values. The West should reject the followers of such a doctrine and return them to the Islamic nations. Islam is a religion based on war and conquest. So who exactly does Ms. Aloni want us to talk to?
99. Todah Shulamit
Secular Sabra ,   Israel   (09.25.06)
" Rabin was murdered for the sake of the settlers " Yes he was . They murdered him as they continue to murder any chance of Peace we will ever have. 101. To # 100
Secular Sabra ,   Israel   (09.25.06)
You misunderstand me. I am not against any religion . I respect the right for all to worship as they choose . I am against religious extremism. All religions have their extremists, ours are called Kahanists and are classed as a terrorist group as are Hizbullah and Hamas. The Kahanists are cold blooded murderers . Moderation in all things my friend .... especially within ones religious believes. The world would be a better place ;)
102. Time to end the occupation.
Alissa ,   Tel Aviv   (09.25.06)
103. Thank you Shulamit.
Alissa ,   Tel Aviv   (09.25.06)
104. Secular Sabra: Hezbollah has the backing of Iran
Beth Landau ,   Tel Aviv   (09.25.06)
I am not sure whether your comparison of Kach and Hezbollah is in place. To my knowledge, those Islamic terror organizations have the backing of Iran which funnels in millions of dollars to them annually. Can the same be said of the bankrupt Kach movement? I think not. And to my knowledge, while Kahanists did commit certain acts of violence over the decades, I think you would agree that they have not been building bunkers, kidnapping our soldiers, beheading people and launching thousands of missles into the country. And besides, Kach always has and always will represent a tiny minority of the religious public. Not nearly like the picture you painted of this huge following involving hundreds of thousands of worshipping fanatics.
105. NOW WE KNOW WHY ISRAEL ELECTED OLMERT
Knave Dave   (09.25.06)
Is it any wonder that such a law-breaking nation elected a law-breaking man like Olmert? In democracy, you get what you are: "The Occupying Power shall not deport or transfer parts of its own civilian population into the territory it occupies." "we deported, robbed land and stole water, destroyed crops, uprooted trees ... and set up hundreds of communities on land that doesn't belong to us." "We paved roads for Jews only, a case of blatant apartheid." "Lawlessness prevailed right under the noses and protective and soothing hand of the IDF and police, as lawbreaking settlers made their own laws undisturbed, and at times with the kind help of authorities." GOD MUST BE VERY PLEASED!
106. HOW POORLY PALESTINIANS UNDERSTAND THE U.S.
Knave Dave   (09.25.06)
#10 writes that the article "tells what no one is able to tell because he is afraid from the US government that is protecting Israel up to the bones" NONSENSE. I live in the U.S. in one of the most militarized regions on earth, and I'm not the least bit afraid to agree with what Aloni wrote here. MANY people in the U.S. would openly agree with it -- even many Christians. Israel has committed all of the sin listed, and this is why things are going as they are. The shortcoming in Aloni's article is not in what it says about Israel, but in what it doesn't say about the hate-filled actions of many Palestinians. However, her point was to bring Israel to attention, not to tell Israel what it already believes about Palestinians. Palestinians need to do their own soul-searching this time of year and see what evil -- what hatred -- dwells in their own hearts. But as for Israel, it has done all the sins mentioned here. Maybe next year, when you celebrate forty years of wandering in occupation you can atone for the sins mentioned here.
107. thank g-d the left wing birthrate is so low

108. When you look up Ynet on wiki Dictionary it says this
Gabrielle Goldwater ,   Geneva Switzerland   (09.25.06)
Criticism - Ynetnews is now headed by Jon Feder, Editor-in-Chief of Ynet. Ynetnews is generally considered to have a secular post-Zionist outlook. It is highly criticized in the Orthodox Jewish world for being virulently anti-Orthodox and anti-settler. In particular, it is often perceived by these communities as regularly printing highly biased articles about especially the Haredi world. Ynetnews allegedly shows its ignorance, for example, by calling the Religious Zionists of America a 'Haredi' organization -- as well as its discrimination, by singling out religious groups in criticisms of social injustice. Due to this antagonism, in the Haredi world, Yedioth Ahronoth is often referred to by a play on words: Idiot Ahronoth.

Greg Douglas ,   Sydney,Australia   (09.25.06)
It's such a relief to read a fellow Jew talk such sense, when so many around are so blind and heading for self-destruction,with the danger of taking the rest of us with them!
114. Shulamit Aloni
Jules Rabin ,   Marshfield, VT USA   (09.25.06)
Ms Aloni, Thanks for your superb summation of the case against Israel's occupation of Palestine. I am an American Jew of about your age, and was warmed by your summation of the aggravated case. Jules Rabin Marshfield, Vermont
115. The REAL peace plan that will never be heard
Israel Border Guard ,   Jerusalem, Israel   (09.25.06)
Everyone has been so busy trying to come up with a "bold", "new", "breakthrough peace plan". But did anyone ask the Palestinian people? Some of us did. Almost every Palestinian said they would much rather live in Jordan with a work permit for Israel than have a "Palestinian State". Why will this never get out to the main stream? Because it is so politically un-correct....but try and tell that to the starving Palestinians who just want out of their desperate situation.
116. "Jews only" roads?
Matthias Roth ,   Switzerland   (09.25.06)
"We paved roads for Jews only, a case of blatant apartheid, ..." With all due respect, Mrs Aloni, those roads were not paved for Jews only, but only for vehicles with Israeli licence plates. So also Israeli can use those roads and use them. And by the way, those roads are necessary because of ambushes and drive-by shootings by Arabs. And the Arabs do not hate you because of the "occupation", no, they hated you even before 1967, Mrs Aloni! Explain me where the 'occupation' was then.
117. # 3 I suppose the religion of "peace" CAN-how bout I send U
Watchman777 ,   USA   (09.25.06)

118. It's time for aloni to shut up!
Sigfried S. Kuhn ,   Aberdeen   (09.25.06)
This delusional fool should get the necessary treatment and retire. She is just Israel's version of Cindy Sheehan. That this lout was actually part of the government is as bad as Ramsey Clark having been Attorney General.
119. #80 something useful to say?
Rustum ,   Ilana   (09.25.06)
Do you have a comment about Shulamit aloni? You obviously did not read #66 or you would not have put your foot in your mouth. As for your comments about me - I expect the usual string of vile comments whenever one talks about non-violence, peace and talkign with the other side. I hope you feel better for having expressed your vilification of me. In truth, I mocked no one. In truth, I think Ms Aloni is the best type of Israeli that there is. In truth, I think that her ideology would save many Israeli lives. In truth i think you are one very angry person and I am always willing to accept an abject apology for your hateful thoughts directed at me.
