'Napoleon retreated from Russia': ok this guy was stupid, but he conquered a great part of Euro, beating his enemies at 1/3 or 4: not so bad and he did not surrender... 'Navy defeated by Nelson' did they surrender? NO, like in russia they fought to the last man... So, I never say France was always the best and winning everything she mades... that's simply very false, but there are limits: with 60M inhabitants she has the 5ft production of the world and there is no comparison between france and israel in term of real power that's all (like there is no comparison between france and USA) and what's happen in Liban is not the fact of France (who didn't want to deploy under UN flag without free fire permission against Hezbolla, remember) but of Israelian misleading: that's a fact not a supposition or an idea...
