read other articles "After decades of reporting, the BBC has gained prestige and respect in every country in the world. It serves as the model for many news organisations, including the Israel broadcasting authority" exept for some didnt you even read this article and past one before? "What's funny is that a recent study published in the Daily Mail, found the BBC's reporting to be slanted towards Israel. It is my opinion that only someone with blindly pro-Israel views can easily misconstrue the BBC's fair reporting as being anti-Israel. Pro-Israel fanatics who lack any sense of balance refuse to see Israel's flaws. " let again.. BBC is simalir to the newspaper in my town and when they got angery letters from christains and jews they changed it .. alittle then what used to said before "The BBC tells the news, that's its job. We can't just censure all of the bad stories about Israel, as many pro-Israeli activists demand. I hope the BBC keps up its work on providing fair and objective journalism for the British public and the entire world." you..dont pay attention to other newspapper arctles..do you?

The BBC has no credibility with anyone who really can follow the news. Only those who live in the past and rely on the BBC believe it is not biased.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/theeditors/2006/10/13/index.html They're trying to be more politically correct, but their name-game wont make them less biased. Read the comments - some of them are really good!

I pay over 100 pounds a year for a TV tax and the BBC says it is not a public company? The High Court should make the BBC publish the report or hold it in comtempt and ban them from broadcasting. The report, admitted byt the BBC, shows organizational bias. Okay, let the public read the rest of the report.

I too have spent substantial time in the region & looked at multiple sides of the issue. You logic then does not make sense. You understand that the Arabs hold most of the blame, but do not hold them at all responsible for the situation they are in. My logic would then be that they are mostly responsible for it. I am not arguing that their situation is good or that I want it to continue. I am arguing that they have substanial power to change it, since it was their choices that lead to it. It is not Israel's job to fix this, only to try to do what they can without sacrificing their security. That problem of security is often underestimated, even by those who have visited there. Your facts on a minority state being formed in an Arab area is missing facts. The area was mostly barren & sparsely populated & owned by the Turks (not the Arabs). When the jews moved in the Arabs found them better economically & started moving in around them. That is how the Arabs wound up in the same space as the Jews. So Israel was not a country formed out of a minority in Arab land. Just because their are Arabs around them does not make that spec, Arab. Historically both groups have been there in the past. (I personally find the historic args less than key, including the Arab one that they used to have control of it 500 years ago, & no one else is allowed to live here because it needs to go back to being pure Arab.) Legally both groups wanted a country when Britain was handing out self-rule to the locals. Originally the Brits were going to make it Arab, but the Arabs had such problems with Jews being there, even as a minority under their rule, that that is when the idea of two states was formed. Off the top of my head, "the case for Israel" by Dershowitz has researched numbers in it. Also, the Arab countries were members of the U.N. and had agreed to abid by it's decisions, so no sour grapes there. The jews were over all not interested in expansion as evidenced by the pushing out of subgroups & movements that wanted to before & during it's formation! I find plenty of anti-Israel bias in the U.S. media. I gave you an example & it was hardly alone. Do you really not call the misinformation? I would agree that the view of Arabs as all terrorist is bias & shows up in our media & needs to stop. That does not change the nonsense about Israel that forgets to include context all the time. The Pals do a great job of getting some of their data out such as videos of soldiers shooting at their kids throwing stones (which left out the armed parents behind them). If they wanted to get the sit-ins into the news, with all the left-wingers here, it would make it, at least onto the internet. Pals have said they believe in propoganda & lieing to win their case (which I'm not faulting). However, the result is a lot of stuff that sounds convincing, but later turns out to be falsified. I choose the point the majority support annilating Israel because Pals polls show that. There is a big inconsistency between your knowledge & your claim to have spent time there & to be researching it, so I'm going to end here (a bit puzzled about that). I hope that over time you will see: 1. That their are plenty of Pals that put destruction before their own people's well being & that this is a huge majority of the problems they suffer. 2. That Israelis & myself & plenty of others who support Israel are NOT doing with a knee-jerk lack of awareness of what you think isn't known in the U.S. about the Pals. Also if you read my post you will see that we know that difference between all Pals & a majority of Pals. 3. A lot of stuff is propoganda. You figured out a few pieces that are Pals complaints against others views. Please try to figure out some of the Pals propoganda too.

You keep saying you support Israel's right to exist, yet you focus on the Palstinians as the victims. It is their view that Israel should not exist that is the entirety of the conflict. The rest of the stuff is just fluff (tough fluff, but) that could be worked out. Israel just keeps insisting on not cooperating with their goal of destroying her. You are complaining that she isn't doing it the right way. But do you really feel knowledgable enough about the security issues to know that? Something that has stayed with me was a story. A building had been destroyed for seemingly punitive reasons by the IDF. Later a reporter, not revealing himself, asked about it. The IDF person showed him a photo -- of military equip peeking out from behind the building. (The reporter analysed the photo for falseness & had been shown it on the quiet because the IDF did not know he was a reporter.) The reporter walked away saying, sometimes, the intelligence data says a building isn't just a building, even if it never comes out that it was a justified hit. Again, this doesn't mean that everything done is perfect, but you aren't holding the Pals responsible for their actions even though they are saying they are responsible. Good luck. Be well. Shalom.

i have a law degree ad am a practicing international lawyer. there is no way in hell that, with your imbecilic elementary style of writing, poor sentence structure, poor expressive english, and spelling errors, can you ever be accepted into even a 4th ranking law school. i don't know what scores you have obtained on your lsat's, but one thing is for certain, you are not going to go into any of the top 20 law schools in the country. maybe the top 20 in ramallah or jenin? i think they can use your limited knowledge and english style there. additinally, most lawyers like myself are history buffs and we are very aware of the going on in the middle east. again, you do not sound like tghem at all. i don't know what history books you are reading my friend, but they must be published in al jibail attached to some kuran scriptures. history, palestinian style....you know what i mean....revisionist history. i have buddies who graduated from the top 20 law institutions in the usa and believe me, you do not sound like them one iota. also, your reasoning is so very faulty. your method of analysis, argumentative style and deductive thinking so benign, it is scary. please let me know your name so that i remember not to refer any of my extra clients to you in the event you should graduate and practice....GOD FORBID!

Arab talkbacks like AMD from Saudia base thier knowledge on Arab media which is known to be everything but clean of propaganda. Freedom of speech is not in the dictionaries of the Arab regimes, so I don't blaim the Arab talkbacks for their ignorance of the real facts.

74. BBC Bias

The BBC has a responsibility to report in accordance with the British public, who are increasingly disgusted by the apartheid state of Israel and its cruel oppression of the people in Gaza, its cluster bombings in Palestine, its breaches of multitudes of UN resolutions and its occupation of territories with its illegal settlements. It is unacceptable for Israel - a foreign government - to aggressively attempt to influence the BBC's reporting, and its excessive levels of influence on British foreign policy through party-political bribes and foreign national lobbying is illegal, unacceptable and must be stopped. We in Britain are witnessing a resurgence of support for the BNP - the British Nazi equivalent - and this is in no small part because of the Zionist Israeli government's disproportionate involvement in, and influence over policies that challenge the national security of Britain. Stop anti-semitism by seeking peace, not military support!
