Very interesting post. If you can start a new party & push for what you outlined, I for one will support you, & I do believe Israel will to use an expression, "lay jewels at your feet." May take a bit to convince them you are serious (given stuff like this article outlines happens so much), but please keep believing in yourself. What you are thinking is what every Israeli I've ever talked with has been hoping the Palestinians would come to realize. (No matter how frustrated & venting they are sometimes, so please don't get discouraged.) I don't follow why you then get mad at others for responding to the stuff in the article? You may not be supporting it, but plenty are, hence the response to it. (I haven't read all the posts, & may have missed something.) You switched from wanting to live with neighbors, to generalized hate of americans, and hold them as the source of your problems. That's back to the stuff we hope self-assessment will move you past. (America's not perfect, and no country is, but that's not the point. And by the way, your image of her is fairly skewed.) But if it wasn't for american jews ALL your problems would be solved??? Also, many amer. jews have family in Israel. If I missed it & you saw criticism, insults & judgement from extremism (& I have seen those at times) then I'm in agreement. It's not necessary or helpful or nice. I look forward to reading more of your posts. You have my proxy vote when you decide to run for office.

47 - yes they do teach about Palestine. During Olso, my cousin (a kid) told me how there was going to be a new country next to their's soon. She'd learned about it in school. What my mom told me she noticed the most when Olso fell apart (from Israel) was how sad everyone was. 49 - the research does support the sparseness of the population in the area when jews started buying up land. That's when the arabs moved in for all the better economics. I looked into this from multiple, & neutral sources to avoid being "brainwashed". Maybe you're getting poor info? Regardless when Britian was handing out rule to the locals there were two groups looking for it. I personally think the historic reasoning for both sides is nonsense. So, why should the jews who were their not get to have their own rule? Why is that so critical to arabs that they get to rule everything? 50 - I haven't read through enough of the posts to this article to want to respond.
