Ramzi Sfeir ,   Bethlehem Palestine   (11.05.06)
i find it really funny that Shai Dares to say that he knows my opinions by now and acts as if he knows nothing about them, i really would love him to quote my past comments! Oh! maybe to Mr. Shai , all those who don't share his views are Evil!, if this is the case, i can't help him...nobody can....Lovely Shai, you don't know me, you know absolutely nothing about me and i don't want you to know me because simply, you are one amongst 6,5 billion humans on this planet, it's not your opinion that will make me not sleep at night! i wish you a pleasant life... bubye!
32. Adam Segal...30
Ramzi Sfeir ,   Bethlehem, Palestine   (11.05.06)
Sometimes, in the case of criminals like Sadam, the best way to punish him is to keep him alive! Yes, sometimes, the slowest and most painful way of death is Life itself! I don't believe in death penalty! It never made a Criminal be less criminal or pay for his crimes! The executer of the sentence if as criminal as the criminal himself! Two wrongs NEVER made a right!
34. Why we're not surprised!? it was all expected the
fadi ,   lebanon   (11.05.06)
fastes trial and the death penalty... US just wants to shut him up for ever to avoid any declarations from his side and exposure of the deal that will indict every single republican from the days of US statemen from 1. Rumsfild 2. Woolfritz 3. Bush the father 4. Reagan 5. CIA leaders etc etc etc .... its a long list of american dirty policy of oil deals, weapon smuglling and sales to iraq (including the WMDs), cover up of the fact that sadamm hussein was on the american payroll of the CIA since before the time he bacme president of iraq etc... So we're just happy that this barbaric stupid so called dictator of iraq has been removed. And now iranian backed governments will be enforced in iraq :) Good luck israel, iran is getting nearer and nearer to ur borders NabokathNASRALLAH is back :)

37. #30 Sadam Segal:
Michael Steiner   (11.05.06)
Look, Adam, I start with myself. I could not look a person--whoever it may be--in their eyes and then terminate the life in those eyes. I couldn't. End of story. And I have nothing but contempt for those who can. Whether you do it as a mugger or as an executioner doesn't matter. If you can take a life away in cold blood, you're a monster, probably worse than the person you're murdering. The heat of a battlefield is something else. I'd have no qualms shooting at someone in such circumstances. And yes, I think the Iraqi people should pay for the shelter of all prisoners. Money is not more valuable than human life; even if it be of an incarnation of evil, such as Sadam.
38. Next Israeli and US leaders
Lois D. ,   Baltimore,Md.   (11.05.06)
for their crimes against humanity...at least, the laws should apply to all, especially Israel who has commited ongoing crimes for the last 58 years with the full approval of the USA.. That's what makes this trial a farce and even the Nuremberg trials which set a precedent for the trial of war criminals.
39. Nice pose, Ramzi
Shai ,   Israel   (11.05.06)
Such "shock" as you must hae. Listen, I don't waste my time cutting and pasting your posts. There is no doubt what I said about them is true. And I don't care to know you, don't want to know you and I believe that it would be pointless to know you. You are irrelevant.
40. To 33
Shai ,   Israel   (11.05.06)
OOOOHHHHH Johnnnnn. Such a hero you are. You called Shai a name because he's onto you, and you are cornered and don't have anything else to say. I didn't ignore the "actual article subject". I was addressing the amoral attitudes of people like Ramzi, who only seem to discover their humanity when Arabs are called to task for THINGS THEY ACTUALLY DID. And to your post, I was responding to a similar tendency of idiots like you, TO BLAME THINGS ON JEWS THAT THEY DIDN'T ACTUALLY DO! Jerk.
41. To Steiner
AB ,   TheRock   (11.05.06)
You are proof as to why the world needs Divine truth. Humans have such warped ideas about everything because of personal interest. The Torah indeed says that whoever pities the cruel in the end he will be cruel to the pitiful. There is no danger in this case of a wrong verdict and capital punishment is the proper punishment for a murderer.
42. #37 Michael
Adam Segal ,   Raanana, Israel   (11.05.06)
The Iraqi people want him dead, so unless, as I said, YOU are willing to paid for his food and shelter, you don't really have a say as to what happens to him. Any man who kills another deserves death unless its in self-defense.
43. To 26 - the face of Ramzi Sfeir
Shai ,   Israel   (11.05.06)
You want to see what kind of peace lover Ramzi is? He's the kind that loves peace if: 1) you accept that everything he says about the Palestinians being victims and Israelis being aggressors is true 2) if you accept that everybody should allow Palestinians to have compensation, but are indifferent to whether Jews kicked out of homes in the Arab world WHERE THEY PREDATED THE ARABS get anything. 3) If you buy into the exaggeration that "every day" people die at checkpoints because of Israeli barbarity, or that "just one week of living in Bethlehem" would convince you of the rightness of everything he says and the wrongness of everything Israel says. 4) If you accept that the whole problem that now requires peace is that somehow, Israel just woke up one day and decided to make life a living hell for Palestinians, as though it's somehow a footnote of history that their leader, Arafat, lied about their moves to peace being tactical rather than strategic and didn't unleash a military outrage against Israel's citizens, that it somehow never happened that Palestinian terrorists acting against civilian targets are why there are road blocks and fences in the first place, etc. Such completely, totally utter blindness to any sense objective morality. Whatever makes Palestinians right, that's what's moral in Ramzi's book. That's exactly what I said in my reply to him. See this exchange between Ramzi and another past resident of Bethlehem, showing the difference between bleeding heart professional victims like Ramzi, who feel pain for Saddam Hussain, and others who have their sense of bearings set properly and can put two words together about why there's no peace in the Middle East. Make that one word. PALESTINIANS. http://www.abrahamic-faith.com/Debates/A%20debate%20between%20two%20Bethlemites.html

45. nice quote Shai! WOW!
Ramzi Sfeir ,   Bethlehem, Palestine   (11.05.06)
Well well my dear Shai, This text you quoted is a complete hoax! Mr Shoebat edited my letter to him! That's for one! For two, there is a whole CONTEXT that is missing ! I suggest that you look elsewhere on the net to find the real story for hundreds of blogs used this text! And i had the opportunity to discuss my real views with some blog owners! but anyways, as i said before! You can believe whatever you want, what is for sure is that you are just another extremist not worth the time i'm loosing responding to you... Thank god i have enough friends in israel to talk to! And be Scared, you woud be surprised that my friends are far away from being only laborites or meretz members! I guess that i know israel much more than you and that i have much more israeli friends than you inside that neighouring country.... friends who happen to agree with my positions ( that have nothing to do with what Mr Shoebat claimed until you proove the contrary ...which is impossible....

Shai ,   Israel   (11.05.06)
Right. This trial is a farce because certain other trials you claim should have occurred didn't occur. Lois, I guarantee you that 90% of speeders never get caught. Does this mean you don't enforce the law for the 10% that do? I wonder which trials you might be referring to. Like the one against leaders of the Palestinian terrorist group that murdered Israel's olympic athletes? Or the leaders of the Palestinian terrorist group that murdered nursery school children in Maalot? Or the leader of Uganda, Idi Amin, who sponsored Palestinian and German kidnappers at Entebbe? Or the leaders of the PLO perfected the airline hijacking for political ends, inconveniencing travelers in security checks to this day, or who infested Lebanon and Beirut, instigating a civil war, after they instigated a war in Jordan and were kicked out (Black September)? Oh, it just occured to me. You must be referring to israel. Oh, yes. It didn't occur to me because I don't manipulate history to suit my needs, the way Palestinians do. OK, let's play along. Typical of supporters of Palestinians, history is something you just gloss over as though it's of no interest unless you can "use" it. The fact is that until approximately 1970, Israel was not in "America's camp". It was mostly supported by France in terms of military and diplomatic aid. So "58 years" means what, Lois? Secondly, if you could pin war crimes on Israelis, if anybody could have, they would have. And in trial, they would have been acquited on all counts, unlike the Palestinian terrorists you support. Take Sharon, for example. He was tried in an Israeli court and found passively culpible for what happened at Sabra and Shatila, which resulted in his 2 decade absence from political influence in Israel. An American news magazine, I think it was Newsweek, posited that Sharon's culpibility was greater, and it went to court as a libel suit. Sharon won hands down, because the Palestinians lied to Newsweek, and Newsweek bought it hook line and sinker. So, why should we think you're telling the truth now? If there is ever an undertendency to try despots, it's not due to a lack of desire to try Israelis whom you see as despotic. We see that when there's a case, there is no shortage of people ready to run with the gauntlet. We just aren't as good a target as "criminals against humanity" as Assad of Syria, Ahmednajad of Iran, Kadaffi of Libya and a host of others. That these people were never tried, Lois, is the "farce".
47. His LAWYER says....?
John ,   USA   (11.05.06)
That's not what Saddam said in the courtroom. I can't find that anywhere on this website. Saddam said completely different things in the court as the verdict was being read. If his lawyer did say such a thing, then maybe it's true that Saddam got a kangaroo court, which I guess we should have expected anyway. In any event, the death penalty is definetly wrong, you should put him in jail to make him think for the rest of his life, a far more severe punishment in my mind.
48. The verdict was written before the prosecution
Media Critic ,   USA   (11.05.06)
We all agree that US is in control of the Iraqi government and all of its political machine and decisions, internal and external. It is therefore the US responsibility to make sure that an execution verdict is Just and justified and not revengeful lynching. Sadam may have been responsible for the death of 150 Iraqi traitors, but hundreds of thousands of innocent Iraqi civilians were killed since Saddam;s Ousting.

Shai ,   Israel   (11.05.06)
Typical Palestinian braggadocio, exaggeration and self-aggrandizement. Wake up and smell the chumus, Ramzi. You and your countrymen blew it. There is no chance for peace, because of YOU, and it doesn't matter whether or not Shoebat corrected your spelling or not. As long as YOU can't sense your responsibility for the position your in, the least you should be worried about is whether I should be frightened of you or your similarly minded army of like-thinkers in Israel. There will be no peace, Ramzi, until you convince Israelis that you want it. It doesn't count if we, like those you count as your friends, convince ourselves.
50. to 48
Shai ,   Israel   (11.05.06)
No, we don't "all agree". Therefore, we don't agree about the "therefore". Are you suggesting that Saddam's culpability is eliminated by the culpability of others? If you think others are culpible, why don't you name them, gather a case against them, and force a trial? It seems to me you're just grasping at straws.

Is "shadenfreude" Arabic or something? Good grief.

53. #19 John you lying scoundrel
Evict John ,   from the Holy Land   (11.05.06)
Why do gentiles like you who hate your Lord's people choose to live in a land where the population is 80% Jewish? Arrogant bastard!
54. to 50, RE:The verdict was written before the prosecution
Media Critic ,   USA   (11.05.06)
It is the occupier’s “rule maker” responsibility to make sure that an execution verdict is Just and justified and not revengeful lynching.
55. I rest my case, shai
Ramzi Sfeir ,   Bethlehem,Palestine   (11.05.06)
Shai...First of all, watch your tone, i'm not your dog! Talk correctly or zip it forever! Secondly, i'm resting my case with you because i think that it's useless to talk to you! your patronizing tone made me reach this conclusion! So for future reference, learn how to talk to human beings! And i remind you : WE ARE ON THE SAME LEVEL you are not more human than me and before asking me to change myself, try taking a look at yourself...But this is another story...

Prove that anything other than the evidence convicted Saddam. Otherwise, don't flatter yourself by calling yourself a media critic.

By all means take his advice and rise up against us infidels. Keep killing our soldiers, and the inocent, and you will find out what a scorched earth policy is all about.
