Let's be real. If America hates or hated Jews then why on earth did we open our arms to those escaping the Nazi party? Why is there free worship? Why would they be free to set up their own communities all over the country? Why would they hold high ranking positions in all of the country's companies and government? Make no mistake, America is very much a Christain country. As Christians, we try to love all of our brothers and sisters, no matter their culture or beliefs. Are there hate groups in America? Yes. As in any other country. Please do not judge the whole country based on the few. I am 36 and have lived here all my life and yet to have even met anyone from the KKK. They are the minority and most people think they are idiots. The bible teaches that those who bless a Jew are also blessed. Those who pray for Isreal and her people will be blessed. There is no need for Christians to 'convert' Jews. Furthermore, I've never heard of any desire to 'convert' them either. I am saddened by the amount of anti-Christain and anti-American statements being made. I am not evangelical but I do pray for Isreal and her people. I pray for her safety and know God will protect and provide for her. Most of the 'mainstream' christians I know feel the same way. TW

The likes of the Johns as the one speaking out in talkback #1 proves the Bible again when it says " from the mouth come the issues of the heart". I have been a Christian for 18 years now and I have never heard anything but a love for Israel preached in any "Baptist" church I have ever been in. For the others that remind us how Christians destroyed the temple we could debate that but be reminded how we treat our own countrymen and brothers. Look what was done in America in the early 1600's in the name of religion. I suggest you examine yourselves and see if we are not all standing in need. Meanwhile we continue to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

REAL Christians will always support Israel. Apparently you don't fall in that catagory.

It's truly vile that many many evangelicals practically froth in orgasmic glee at hearing news of slaughter in the Middle East from the comfort of their Texan homes....as if the death of palestinian children will bring Jesus's coming closer... What a state to be in eh?
