91. IAF flights over Lebanon airspace
Ted ,   Portland, OR USA   (11.11.06)
The Israeli's have just cause to be proceeding in this manner.. 1)Arms are still coming in to S. Lebanon via, Syria; This is a well known fact. 2)Israel has the right to protect herself from the constant threat of agression from Hezbollah 3)The UN force does not do anything to stop this during day light patrols. And the UN does NOT patrol afterdark. Who is the UN there to protect, militant terrorists in S. Lebanon, or are they to ensure that attacks by Islamo-Facists are minimized ?
92. France
Shawn ,   OKC,USA   (11.11.06)
I think if France so much as blows smoke in the direction of Israel, the US should blow so smoke France's direction.
93. response to it's only a matter of time...

Israeli arrogance? Israel has the right to defend itself. It has a right to patrol it's borders. It has a right to determine it's destiny. If Israel needs to fly over Lebanon, where Hezbollah has a political presence, to determine the state of rearmament of it's enemy, so be it. Lebanon and Hezbollah started all of this nonsense this summer when it did not respect the sovereignty of it's neighbor. What, Israel is supposed to leave it's security and welfare in the hands of the UN? The UN, which if truth be told would be more than happy to see the end of Israel....

Wow, a conservative in Moscow on the Willamette! I thought I was alone in thinking things like this when lived in Tigard. Stay right on the left coast as Lars would say..
95. UNIFIL
Shinderpakk Jandu ,   Punhab   (11.19.06)
What work ? Was not there an intenational agreement to stop Hizbollah from rearming in Lebanon ? What was UNIFIL doing for 10 years- watching the concrete trucks drive by ? This will all end with crying.
