You are your worst enemies. You should have dealt with Hizbollah yourselves and you wouldn't have had Israel, which waited for you for 6 years to do it, making the havoc you blame her for. I think you have miscalculated the mood of most Americans, Ali #19. Since the U.S. troops will be departing, then why not make sure the Iranian nuclear facilities, army and air force are put into a 'distressed state' before leaving? I think the chances of that are much greater than you think.

If Lebanon decays into another civil war, it will of course take all the Hizbullah heat off Israel. Possibly Syria might have to intervene, the US sure won't touch that. Or perhaps everyone might just let the civil war cook, as it will take the heat off everyone. The US and Israel can use it to keep Iran's proxy occupied, Syria can deflect attention from itself, as Iran can. Looks like the only big loser will be Lebanon (again.)
