Jews owned 7% of Palestine in 1948and were only 33% of the population. Somehow though they ended up getting 55% of Palestine in the 1948 parition plan compared to the 45% for the Palestinians. Even the Jewish people were not thrilled with it and themselves wanted much more of Palestine. Second, if Israel truly wanted peace out of Oslo they would have stopped building settlements. Settlement construction only increased after 1994. What are the Palestinians supposed to think? Oh, we'll have our own land soon, they just keep building more settlements for fun? No, to the Palestinians continued settlement construction meant that Israel was not really ever serious about making Palestine a country! Even Barak's "generous offer" was not even a contiguous state and had no border with Jordan even! I wonder why Arafat rejected that plan... maybe because it would have been impossible to maintain a viable state in the land they were given! Arafat recognized Israel and got screwed, Hamas does not want the same thing to happen to them! At this point, Israel does have a right to exist and Hamas does know this deep down, they just don't want to give up their cards and get screwed like Arafat.

Is it so much more important to kill for land than it is important to learn more about God? God does not want anyone to fight His battles (with the devil & its partners). This spiritual fight is for the Lord and Saviour, not for you and I. We are only here to borrow land and respect it; but as I see it (as a Christian), we are all destroying it with hate, evil, prejudices, and physical destruction.
