We unfortunately have a serious security problem. This is not comparable to situations elsewhere in the world where minorities suffer discrimination (and there is plenty of it everywhere). Here we are in the middle of a war between two peoples & the "least worse" option is separation. People outside Israel don't realize that generally, Israeli Arabs are free to go anywhere in the country - hotels, malls, markets, etc. & no one bothers them. Their behavior is frequently quite bad - they wreck hotel rooms, they steal in the malls, etc. but everyone puts up with it. I see this all the time because I live in Eilat which is a tourist city. Israel is no more racist than any other country. Contrast this with our Arab neighbors who are xenophobic & really intolerant.

Where ever Arabs are allowed to live they then don't let Jews alone. They become a security threat. This is not Europe or America where there are numerous minorities. Two points: 1. Here in the USA, the Jewish lobby is front and center promoting civil rights AND multi-culturism, curious why this same strategy is not also good for Israel. 2.
