I have been a rightist all my life. In my youth, I supported Meir Kahane and his call to transfer the arabs. As I've gotten older, I realize that most likely there will never be a population transfer because Israel does hold herself up to a higher standard than most of the world. What Olmert said makes sense if the palestinians truly want to live in peace but I do not think that will ever be the case. I do not think they will ever give up on their right of return to pre '67 Israel. I do not think they will give up their desire for a palestinian state on all of Israel and the territories.
